Jakes right i didnt renew the sorn cos i sent off the document signed by the scrapdealer to say scrapped and they sent acknowledgement, i written out a statement to that effect on back of fine ill send off and see what happens ive got till 4/11/07 to pay fine. oh and ive found original sorn acknowledgement in the loft was march 2004!!!!!! but definately thrown everything else ive spoken to scrappy as well waiting for them to get back to me.

yes i remember i got the notification and i remember throwing it all away at begining of this year. I never saw it scrapped just put on the lorry and taken away. But i did get it signed and sent off to say it was scrapped then got the letter from dvla confirming updated details. I suppose ill have to pay as i no longer have the records. Does anyone keep records for that long?, just another goverment money making scam i suppose. Stuff like this really pi**es me off

I have today recieved a letter from DVLA saying i have to pay a fine for an untaxed vehicle that i scrapped 4 years ago.... I know i sorned it then notified them i scrapped it, on ringing them they say the sorn ran out 31st aug 2007!!!!! and they under no obligation to send out reminders. i have to pay 40 quid fine and back tax of 17 quid odd. I had a clear out and threw all the paperwork out a while ago so have no records, i know i have never recieved a reminder to sorn again or anything in all this time. So would you argue this or just pay it? Seems strange they never queried why it wasnt taxed before now.

i had a lab that had kennel cough my neighbour who trains greyhounds could hear him from next door came round to see him i told him what vet had given him he said chuck it out (cant remember what it was called) give him benalyn kids cough mixture which we did and it was was gone in 5days. He came and gave him a spoonful every 2 hours for 1st day then 3 times a day after that. worth a try.

has anyone got these that can post up pics of on car. im sure i saw someone had brought these. think it was brians25 e bay item no 150162783411 my car currently has 17's super advan racing 3 spoke with the large single nut with 245 tyres so would these fit, whats under the nut etc, i admit being a girlie haven't a clue any suggestions would be appreciated but i only have a budget of about 600 pound plus tyres and hubby not really interested in looking at them he'll just pay for them love u guys and gals

Well certainly do at our store prob why we just won no1 store in the company. As a reward all colleagues get paid day off and night out on the store plus wine chocs etc not many places do that anymore.

we have a female one she's very friendly never bitten anyone and she's handled everyday. My son takes her rabbiting 3 times a week with his mates and their ferretts she loves getting with the others very funny watching them play around in the garden. very easy to keep and dont smell if you keep them clean she loves a bath, fave foods are cat food in jelly, chicken and pigeon meat. i have to admit i hated it at first, reminded me of a rat but now love her to bits

got a bottle of baileys to keep me going, and 200 balloons to blow up sausage rolls to make, kebabs to make etc etc oh and do the ironing and i got to be at work at 6am
