  1. N/A's are great and very rapid, but a twin turbo is something else, very different cars indeed. Considering your only 19 there are a lot of hidden costs with supras, fuel for one thing, even on a N/A its mental and thats even if you drive it sensibly, which you wont becuase your 19 and want to buy a supra Even though they are reliable cars, you have to maintain them and costs can be high sometimes. But if you have a very good job or you get a lot of money from your parents then go for it. I would go with a TT personally but youll have a problem insuring it.
  2. Yeah mine doesnt use too much oil. Only if you cain it with full synthetic
  3. Is there a turbo engine anywhere???? now that I would really like to see!!
  4. Yeah you can get the odd creak from your rear end when pulling away slowley sometimes.. ohh that didnt come out well...........
  5. I would trade my supra for a golden chocobu! How cool would that be!
  6. at least your not on u tube!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoioCXQrmfE
  7. My best mate got clamped one night when he was visiting a friend in another county. So really pissed off, he let down his tyre and took it off. Left it in the car park and drove off. End of storey........................
  8. Whats ET short for???? He has only got little legs!
  9. Yeah happened to my dads golf gtdi. Dogy fuel. Aparrently on fuel pipelines one minute they could be sending Diesel down, then petrol, then vegetable oil! sounds crazy, but the car is a 52 plate 20000 miles and daily drive and always fully serviced no matter. The injectors were absolutely clogged in shite!
  10. my god thats good thats one for when your pissed.......
  11. loads of ways, I have a device that sits om my desk telling me loads of stuff, voltages, temps, frequencies etc but easiest way......... download a program called everest home edition or free edition
  12. Really not worth doing anything at all worst case scenario, you cpu blows which it wont at those temps, you can get anther one off ebay for nout! to be honest, I can see about 10 reasons why you have heat probrems with the kit you have got but nothing is worth doing about it.The main reason is that your cpu mostly likely prescot, will run stupid temps and you fan/heatsink isnt that great. But its doing its job. If you want to replace it you can with an aftermarket one, but you really would see much of a difference in your setup. I wouldnt bother as youll be wasting £25+. A 400 power supply is absolutely fine for your setup, I have a HIPER 580PSU but thats because i have a very good custom built PC well overclocked. You bying that cpu would be like filling your micra up on race fuel on your way to work every day. Ie a complete waste of time. My advice, leave well alone, ive seen those processors run 90 degree c and never a problem. Most home users cpus run mental temperatures, because of dust buildups in the fan/heatsink and they never even realise. make sure you have a fan on the front of your case, and rear exhaust fans rely on "through" air flow within the case
  13. Watching that i suddenly realised I have no idea what the camshafts actually do! I can understand the piston movement. But what the hell is happening top end? I know its to do with timing etc? eh........ someone bail me out please lol
  14. My insurance company asks if you have a bodykit, factory fitted or aftermarket! But im with elephant...........say no more
  15. 24 is amazing! Season one is ok, but nothing compared to later seasons. Not for everyone though, my dad couldnt get into it at all. thought it was rubbish.
  16. thats really good actually, thnks for sharing!
  17. Looks absolutely quality! That maybe the kit for me!
  18. mate im in the same boat! i never knew it made such a difference saying your not a student. Im a student too, so i bet im being raped too. Im with elephant just becuase they are dirt cheap for me. Im 21 with no no-claims but no points etc and pay £1400 on a jap spec tt. Just added both my parents as second drivers so i cant complain at that. Not looking forward to renewal though, so damn expensive!
  19. Ask yourself this, do you want your son to max out the supra on a road, cus he will do it within 5 mins of having one!
