  1. They are getting bigger becuase of climate change. They are living longer because of the warmer weather and the fact that houses in the last 40-50 years are central heated and well insulated. They will be the size of dogs soon!
  2. I used to have a celica gt (not the gt4). Just the 2.0ltr version. I know it wasnt a GT4 but I only had it as I was 18 and couldnt afford a supra. Even given the choice now I would go with the supra as it was the flagship toyota coupe from back then and to me is more special. However you get 4 wheel drive, and they can be very tunable, and they are becoming very rare. It seems very difficult to find a good one now. So the fact that its becoming a rare car maybe a good reason to get one, especially with all the imported supras they days. I do like GT4s and they can be very quick. I think 400bhp for a daily drive isnt out of the question, if you have the cash. Although i love my supra now, I loved my celica gt when i had it, probably just as much, and it didnt even have a turbo. they are nice cars but good luck finding a good gt4. There are a lot of overpriced crap out there at the moment! hope this helps, kinda:p
  3. Every other transaction is either at BP or shell i wonder why that is??
  4. I cant wait to get back to uni, download speeds of over 1meg a sec sometimes!
  5. thats a good effort there mine was a completely mint gz though so i got full black leather etc. i would have paid easily 2k more for my car if that had been the price
  6. seeing pics like these really makes me want to get a bike, i just know that i will kill myself on one of those. Im just not sensible enough:(
  7. thinking about it i get a lot of looks from celica owners. they all really want a supra, but settled for that instead:d
  8. whats with all these oaps loving the supra?? never come across this before??
  9. you see that a lot on autotrader! i just hope i wont ever be writing it!
  10. ive seen the same thing with completely different stats showed the same thing but the numbers were more exadurated so dont know what to believe now
  11. i bought my tt for 5k and i got an absolute bloody steal........ the guy had it at 8k for 2 days then dropped the price just as i was phoning him as he needed a quick sale. now thats as jammy as a dodger in a swimming pool of jam i say!
  12. Just like with ever fashion things come and go neons are definitely out i think, fast and the furious brought them in mainstream and thats quite an old film now, chavs take longer to cotton onto stuff like this. Same goes for crome wheels........not so good anymore In my opinion, the new "in thing" in car modifying is the understated look. The best way to test this is if your girlfriend doesnt think it looks modified it passes the test. another way of looking at it is "if it could be factory standard" if you didnt really know what i supra should look like properly. you my 2p, but ive spoken to many that share my view
  13. A bad reference would read as follows, " I can confirm that Mr x worked for this company" the end
  14. civic as a weekend car and the soop as a daily drive?? something not right there
  15. it may be cheaper to modify your drive?? just a thought:search:
  16. i remember a while ago on top gear, when they did the fastest disabled driver in the liana round the track. They were all in wheel chairs and one of them had a Supra TT. Not sure if he is a member on here. but if he had one, i would definitely think you would be able to put a wheel chair into the supra boot. Any if you took the space saver wheel out, you could have quite a large boot.
  17. that must be officially the cheapest twin turbo! how many miles though?
  18. Im very suprised it wasnt a lot more faded than that tbh if it were left out in the sun for years its very hot out there u know;)
  19. The manual is a fantastic option I just get pissed off with people who think the auto is somewhat inferior when it really isnt. Both the auto and the manual perform really well. It really is down to choice. One "advantage" that i find with the auto is that it can encourage you to drive a little more sensible sometimes as its so pleasant to pootle around with the auto set up. Manuals are far more aggressive and tend to bring out the boy racer in me, which isnt too good
  20. Damn straight i would but then again im a complete and utter snob:d
