  1. Well in that case, look for a nice Uk spec tt. Dont be put off by auto's either as they are really good too. Go try a few Uk's and see what you like. Although a uk will be money upfront, it will hold its value much better when you come to sell it.
  2. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh well good luck then, your gunna need it I would go to adrian flux ready to part with a sh*t load of cash! Why dont you try something a little less powerful like an MR2 or something or even a impreza?? I know they arent a supra but i think your going to have a mega hard time getting insured. If you buy a Supra, they cost so much more to run than you first think. I spent £1000 servicing mine two months ago! But assuming you have thought all this through and your just wanting to save some money on insurance, I would not expect to pay under 2K under any circumstances. And you must get a UK CAR!!! There are a few knocking round cheap these days. Maybe you just need to wait till a good uk spec come up for sale???
  3. I have an import im 21 with a jap spec tt with no no-claims. I pay £1300
  4. No you want admiral or elephant!! but make sure you add two older drivers that you know, that have driven for years and have had no accidents recently. Doesnt even have to be your parents. And do it all online too for the 10% discount

    V8 Rx7?

What brake is it?? I can see? must be a lot though
  6. Yeah thats sounds ok, would like to know what figures i would be getting at the fly though? I was bang on 300bhp at the fly with a shagged intercooler and fueling way way out.
  7. Ive heard that HKS Silent Exhaust is far from silent though?? Isnt the name supposed to be a bit ironic?
  8. Yeah thats my fear, its probably not a good idea to go BPU now winter is approaching anyway. I think I really need to sit in a BPU supra at a meet sometime to hear what it sounds like.
  9. Very strange question, but im interested in going BPU, but I really want to keep the stock look of the car so would be keeping the standard exhaust. If I have to double decat, is this going to make the exhaust really loud and droney? Dont get me wrong I do like that sort of thing normally, but for my car I want to remain very discrete. I love modified supras, but im deliberately keeping a stock look just to be a little different, and plus I believe that unless oyu have a lot of cash to throw at it you shouldnt bother. So how discrete can BPU be? I dont mind noise so much on the outside of the vehicle, but I dont want to hear it droning on the motorway.
  10. damn thats good? Ill have to try harder next time as ill have 1 years no claim too
  11. Ive had two evos have a go... it was all good as they were both very nice cars. Infact racing an evo is strange as they get the jump on you, but man do you real it in at high speed. The last one got away as my de-limiter chip is a smoldering mess in my dashboard at the moment.
  12. I would absolutely love a zonda.....my favourite supercar ever!
  13. Hi I have a GZ TT with a pretty much mint black leather interior. I would just like to know the best way of keeping it that way?? What products do I need to use and anything brand specific come to mind?
  14. OK you ready for this...........For a Jap Spec TT auto GZ im 21 with ABSOLUTELY NO NO-CLAIMS, I pay around £1300 with Elephant for a ten month policy. Never had a crash though, and no points. Just never built an no claims up as have always been on other peoples policies. Limited mileage of 4000 though... But on a 11 year old car with 60k on the clock im not worried about that. Take 2 random oldies, and add them as second and third driver as long as they have been driving for ages, and have no points you will be fine with admiral/ elephant. What is intesting is that elephant will insure me on a MR2 Turbo fully comp for £750!!! now thats a bargain at 21!! Adrian Flux couldnt get anywhere near that.. Im going to try sky at next renewal, but will most likely stay with elephant or admiral. Another thing is..... my car is not modified in anyway..... why medal with perfection??
  15. So its not a new series then?? I dont expect Hammond to be back so soon if it was.
  16. I went to the one in lancaster where they played such classics Royal britannia to the fireworks going off was ok actually
  17. OMG that pisses me right off, some people in this world really are complete f**kwits!!
  18. Just to clear up, that 5.6 0-60 time comes from parkers online. But their database is notoriously incorrect
  19. Yeah just make your hard drive the first boot device in your bios. infact turn the cd rom drive off at boot, because if you need it again later, you can just turn it back on again
  20. Yeah standard suspension I find is excellent on the supra, I would go back to that.
  21. Cool i remember that next time. When i bought my supra, the guy had just put it through a cheapo mot to sell it. Needed 4 tyres and hence they all have "sunny" written on them. I have a stand tt auto, and on 6mm tread i can loose trantion in the dry flooring it! Very noisey and squeely too. On previous cars ive found toyo proxies to be very quiet too.
  22. If its going to still be fast, im up for it being a hybrid, but if it destroys the cars heritage like they did with the celica?? im not so sure:(
