  1. Not sure what car to get her, maybe a Kia or a Clio .Must be something small and cheap to insure. Insurance is a joke for "young uns" Its getting expensive for me , wifes got an Mx3, sons got a 1.6 306 , I have a Vectra and a Supra TT and now another on the way AAARRRRRGGGGGG
  2. Find a friendly MOT tester, there's plenty around could do with finding one near Stoke
  3. Thanks guys She got 6 minor faults , I think they are allowed 15 and no majors. Such a relief shes passed, it was costing me a fortune. The supras out of bounds, besides she cant drive an auto so I think Ill keep it that way for now
  4. My 17 year old daughter, Lauren, has just passed her driving test. Third time lucky.... The waiting was unbearable while she was gone with the instructor :D :D
  5. Thats more than the 1.2 bar recommended, if thats the case with one cat out whats the point in removing both ?????????????
  6. There seems to be alot of Marks on here today
  7. My Mrs wrote a car off (Direct Line) Informed them Direct line of the accident Within a few days they got it taken to a repairer Within a few days after that got one of their people out to access the damage Then made me an offer on the car All in all from crash to offer a couple off weeks
  8. I really must get my garage cleared out so the car can go in it, it must be great to have a dry use only car, that way you can give it a good T cut and polish and there after just tityvate (spelling) and never need wash with water again, well not that often anyway. I used to have an XR3i (black) and kept that dry, it was very satisfying on a horrible wet and windy day to know that the car was in a nice warm garage , bone dry........
  9. Its been raining overnight arrrggg, the sun is trying to break through now though
  10. I saw the stuff in Halfords and wasnt very impressed, you want the mesh they use for Jags if you can find where they get it from

    Too Big

I have tried to upload some photos but they are too big 760kb , to upload due to a max size set by the forum, is there a way of reducing the size or will I need to take some more on a lower resolution ??
  16. getting tyres fitted at Tyre Force just out side Hanley , stoke-on-Trent
  17. Welcome:D I live in Stoke-on-Trent Staffs and would like to do exactly the same just to get some practise as its been so long since I had a rear wheel drive car ( 3ltr Capri back in the 80s) You cannot go to supermarket car parks really as the police are watching out for the chavs in there Corsas all the time. We could do with going to a skid pan the same as the police practise that way you can practise as slow speeds. Good luck
  18. I would have thought that as long as there is no signs of leakage and when the diff oil was last changed it was correctly topped up it should be okay, as far as far as I know diffs dont actually use any oil.
  19. regarding your girl, shes bound to say it wouldnt work if you joined the RAF, she probably feels that if you are willing to join up and spend months away from home your feelings for her cannot be that strong, end of. A rolling stone gathers no moss, I know guys who have been in the forces for years and come out with , No house, No job No relationship and itchy feet , basically institutionalised.....maybe different being an officer. Only you can decide Greg, Good luck
