  1. Well that makes us both twats then!
  2. I did mine a few months back the same way using 200, 400, and then 600 grit wet n dry. took an absolute age and was really hard work but it was well worth it in the end looks so much better now! I tried using a dremel at 1 point to speed things up in the tight areas DON'T! It creates to much heat and ends up melting the plastic.
  3. My first job was working for Comet. Started of as a Part time sales advisor when i was 17 and still at school, by the time i left 7 years later i had done every job there and climed the ladder all the way to full time "warehouse manager"!

  6. hello! I think that would have been me I pass through there just after 5.30 on my way home from work every day number plate starts N662 *** I asume you were in another car as i don't remember seeing another sup?
  7. That sounds like a damm good quote to me girly is that on a TT? Think i might give them a call when mine is up for renewal in a few months
  8. 96' jap spec 6 speed TT N reg witch cost me £11,500 18 months ago. I am 24 with 5 years no claims and i pay £1000 give or take a few quid but that is without any mods declared with elephant, no other company i have tried could get near that! (have not tried the club insurer yet tho) I expect yours will propably work out a lot cheaper as you are a girl (Don't mean any offence by that it's just a fact!)
  9. Your Not the only 1 I have had that problem 2, only happens now and again the idle just seems to drop and almost cut out then seems to sort itself out after a while. I have changed the plugs and air filter so i rekon it could be the o2 sensor or fuel filter?
  10. Yep I have seen that ad, and no one believes me when I tell them it's a sup either.
  11. "I ain't getting in no plane" Thats great i especially liked the Q@A section
  12. I don't think you can own a sup without driving it hard, that loud pedal is just to much of a temptation for me i use it every day and it cost me an absolute forture in petrol but i just don't care!
  13. Thanks 4 the advice guys Glad to hear it's not unheard of, will defiantly look at getting it checked out in the near future the car seems to be running fine and I have only had to top up the oil slightly over the last few months. I hope for my sake it is not the turbos otherwise........
  14. hi guys:) Just wondered if anyone else has come across this or can shed any light on it? At the weekend I removed some of my intercooler pipeing for cleaning but when I did I noticed that the inside of the piping was covered in quite a lot of oil [/sHOCK] Iv spoken to someone with a bit more experience with turbo engines than me(not sups tho) and he seems to think he has come across this and it's normal. I’m not convinced tho especially as i have also noticed that there is even sum oily residue that has been spat out of the BOV [sHOCK] /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_shock.gif My best guess is that it has something to do with the turbo oil seals? Any help and advice would be much appreciated
  15. Know i didn't say this but AFAIK is short for As Far As I Know. Iv seen that Bov somewhere before? But i cant for the life of me remember who makes it:rolleyes:
  16. I picked up this thread a bit to late to get my car in:rolleyes: but i will be going and i hope to see some of you guys there:thumbs:
  17. well done mate enjoy, glad you got it sorted:d
  18. should look something like this when you are done...... http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/1415/bov0019nd.jpg http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/7919/bov0028fo.jpg You can spin it round so that it faces forward, it just would not quite fit under the strut brace on mine. This is the bit you need to take out..... http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/825/bov6aq.jpg Hope these pics help mate
  19. Iv had the hks bov for about a year now, it should be very simple to fit only took me about 25 mins, the instructions are in japanese but if you take a good look at the pictures then you should be able to work out what you need to do. I am assuming you have the specific valve with fitting kit for the supra? if so everything you need is in with the kit, it goes in where the existing valve is, you wont need to do anything with the engine setup or turbos. some people have these welded onto the IC intake piping i am not sure what the pros/cons of doing this are? I can post a picture of mine fitted if it helpes.
  20. No problems will give that a go:)
  21. I have been meaning to go to this for years:) seeing as it's just down the road i will make an effort to go this time, it's probably to late for me to send that form off to get in the club section now tho:(
