  1. I had a similar situation trying to drive a prototype Frontera up a mountain road covered in ice. It eventually stopped going forwards & started sliding back down, with the wheels still driving forwards :taped:

Luckily the cars behind me got out of the way and I managed to steer it into a snowbank on the mountain side of the road.... avoiding the 100' foot drop on the other side.

Trust Opel to cut corners not equiping the vehicle with proper snow tyres & studs. They said it was 4wd & the tyres said M&S on them, so that was good enough  Pillocks! They were summer tyres, and only had M&S on them to get out of type approval testing!

And then there was the time the road was blocked by Reindeer :search:

  2. Now hold on a cotton picking minute.....

If those acid pump inhibitor tablets say that stomach acid kills off bacteria, and these expensive but very fashionable little drinkies contain 'good' bacteria, then surely stomach acid will kill off the bacteria and you'll be no better off than if you didn't drink it??

Or am I missing something? Are Actimel acid resistant???

I know that some Lactobacillus Acidophillus (LOL at Linda's AcidoPHALLUS comment!! Something on your mind Linda??) in tablet form are killed off by stomach acid (cos my mum says so & she's a teacher).

  3. I had the same & stuck Loctite 5900 or 5910 RTV (like silicone sealant, but without silicone) in the cut. Worked a treat :)

Edit - I've actually used this stuff to repair broken rubber engine mounts & virtually build my Westfield. Its REALLY good at bonding stuff and resists everything... and it makes gaskets too ;)

This is very similar but blue http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LOCTITE-INSTANT-GASKET-BLUE-FLANGE-SEALANT-40ML_W0QQitemZ260184834657QQihZ016QQcategoryZ28641QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

  4. His 'customers' all are ficticious. Check who they've been buying from and all their feedback are from private sales with others that sell desktop 'wallpaper' for £0.00.

All his 'customers' have very low feedback, and he's only been a member for a month.

    Complete scam!

    Here is 'his' pic

  5. Just park a tanker outside your house.... no problem then ;)

I remember the last time the fuel supply was cut off. No cars on the road, and the cars that were on the road only doing 30 on dual carriageways.

I had an LPG powered Jag that I refuelled at home. It was like my own private road network LOL

The look on people's faces as I sped past at ?? leptons. Priceless :)
