I got back from Hurgarda about 2 weeks ago, spent a week there with the girlfriend and we loved every minute of it. Awesome place, great weather (a bit windy sometimes though) and really nice hotels. Locals can be a bit 'in-your-face' if they have something to sell but generally well behaved. Also i'd never tried scuba diving before but so many people on here recommended it and im hooked now... the clear water, amazing coral reefs and the wicked looking fish... essential activity if you go anywhere near the red sea. Only about £40 ish too I'd say go for it, i'd definitely go back. How much of a weapon do I look? lol EDIT - "La Shockra" (spelt phonetically) means 'no thankyou' the locals kinda leave you alone if you repeatedly chant this phrase

"Yall got a Sh'mokey on yo tail" lol Normally just the make and type of tyre AFAIK, not sure colouring in all the numbers would look very cool... ...Not really a jap styling thing though is it? More a yankee doodle favorite.

Hi all, Recently got back from holiday to find my mouse no longer works, thought nothing of it and went out and bought a new one which also doesn't work... realised that I hadn't tried using the usb ports for anything else so tried my pen drive... nothing. All three of my USB ports dont work, I did get one of them to pop up a message saying "unidentified something or other inserted into usb port" when I tried my pen drive, but now nothing comes up anymore. The laptop is my work one and used everyday in the office, whilst i was away it was used a couple of times by one of the girls in the office to check on my work, emails etc, but nothing was installed/deleted/messed about with. I've tried an auto recovery (rolling back to a date I knew it all worked) but no joy. Its an HP laptop, about a year old but I have the feeling it was a cheap one. Its got XP too. If you need the spec I can probably get it but as you can tell im not exactly computer litterate! Hardwear? Softwear? Anyone help? Cheers Mark

From 1Bar to 1.2Bar > How big Bhp gain?
MarkTheBoy replied to Supra-Iceman's topic in mkiv Technical
Hmm... interesting. How much did it cost you? I was thinking of just going for a miami GT smic but if the gains are this good I might have to go with what you have. #goes off to smash up piggy bank# -

Didn't realise you had a front mounted, how did I never notice that before? Did you have to lose the front spoiler or is it still fitted? -
Where to go to finish BPU? - FCD/Delimeter etc etc
MarkTheBoy replied to MarkTheBoy's topic in mkiv Technical
Cheers guys, James - as far as FCD's & Delimiter's go is Thor the place to go? I keep hearing that theirs is the most reliable unit. -
Hi all, Need to know where I should go for the following bits, im essex based but would travel virtually anywhere if it gets things done properly. I want the following things done/fitted FCD Top Speed Delimeter Turbo Timer Cam belt change Oil Change I also have a walbro pump and iridium plugs which just need fitting too, I have these here and could probably do them myself but might as well get it all done at once if the price is right. Anyone got any ideas on who would be the people to talk to? Traders - Please feel free to PM prices for the above Cheers

Does it really make such a staggering difference? I didn't realise how much an intercooler mattered. -
Awesome guide Mark, Job well done. It'd be great to see a before and after shot next to each other if you can, im definitely going to get this done once the weather starts cheering up! Well done fella

We've got one, its alright. Its a left hooker as we bought it when they first came out and it came badged up as a merc... but other than that its ok. The interior is a bit... er... quirky. Not much room for luggage either but plenty of room for two people very comfortably. We've had it years and the first problem we've had was a couple of days ago when it fell into a pot hole. Apparantly the impact forced the lube out from one of the ball joints so it makes a very strange noise now, cheap to fix though. Other than that its been very reliable. Test drive one before you commit to the idea though coz they're not your average runaround

On my puma there is a little tube that appears to allow heated air into the headlights, i assume it is heated air as they occasionally mist up but clear within minutes of starting the car. Is there anyway of adapting this principle to the supra headlights? PS - I too have a misty passenger light

ahahahaha Thats so bad! Bit of a guilty secret my one... A couple of years ago for my mums birthday, me, my mum, dad and brother went to bruntingthorpe for a bit of track day racing in their T350C. We all took turns throughout the day and loved every minute. A couple of days later dad was polishing the car (hes fanatical about his motor looking brand new) and he noticed a massive ding in the passenger side front wheel... like proper fuc##d!! Mum had just popped up the shops in it so dad immediately assumed she'd just done it but because it was her b'day thought he'd not mention it. I suddenly remembered flying through a neat little 'S' bend at bruntters and 'slightly' losing it, sliding of the track and clipping (ahem ) a bit of a pot hole a few feet off the track. Felt really bad about it for ages and even worse when dad forked out for a new wheel... it turns out it was buckled too! Big bunch of flowers this mothers day then...

I bought one of these the other day http://www.amazon.co.uk/Western-Digital-250GB-Essential-External/dp/B000EXZAOY?tag2=adwordsppc-21 Turned up yesterday, really really impressed. Automatically swiches on and off with the machine, plug and play, small, portable and looks good too. Its about the size of the small version of the PS2 but a bit thicker. Plus its virtually silent. Only downside is its actually only a 230gb drive... lying bastards
