  1. Yup. No point in really going for 550's if you've got the other things to support these babies. Gaz.
  2. As Syed says Qaisar, Steve on SF has a excel spreadsheet calculator to see if things will fit, you can download it off SF or I can email you it if you cant find it. Apparently my new 20s should fit Gaz.
  3. Get a pro to do it or you risk knacking your turbos/engine if swarf ends up in em... Take it to Leon or similar. Gaz.
  4. Should have no probs, I've got 19s on now and am putting 20s on shortly! Gaz.
  5. Errr hold on a sec, what 6-speed? Gaz.
  6. Kevin Huntley will be along shortly to give you an idea of wheel refurb prices. Gaz.
  7. It was good, pity more didn't turn up though Got about 9/10 cars there... Gaz.
  8. A19 Northbound @ at Testo's Roundabout (the roundabout before the tyne tunnel) take a right, you'll come to another roundabout with a BMW dealer in front of you. Turn left, 300 yards down that road, cinema on your right. A1 Northbound, turn off (right hand lane) onto A194 after washington services, follow road till come to roundabout. Turn right on roundabout up onto dual carraigeway (A185 I think!) follow that till it comes to Testo's roundabout, straight over & you'll come to another roundabout with a BMW dealer in front of you. Turn left, 300 yards down that road, cinema on your right. Gaz.
  9. Right then, meet up at 7.30, UGC Boldon Cinema. More members are from the North East (so far). Dead easy to find from either the A1 or A19, will post directions shortly. Gaz.
  10. Yeah, but the warranty company are only paying to replace parts. Labour to find the problem is not included! And Kevin is 230 miles away from CW. Gaz.
  11. He's swapped most of the parts in the engine bay! O2 sensors, water sensors, cats, MAFs, filters, bovs - the list goes on... Gaz.
  12. I thought the charcoal canister was only to remove dangerous vapour from the pressurised (sp?) fuel tank then release it to air... Gaz.
  13. The Carbon dash, as said is for late spec cars with the 5 guage dash... The cost prices for these is about £150 from Jap land not including vat, delivery etc. I found a few piccies in my collection, ones attached, email me if you want any bigger ones sent over... Gaz.
  14. Let me know if you get through hes not easy to get hold of! Gaz.
  15. Terry, Peter said that it would take 5-8 weeks from yesterday. Hopefully its nearer 5 Gaz.
  16. Yep, its still the best braking car in the US I think so its gotta be one of the best here too. Its braking performance is better than the 911 turbo which is widely regarded as one of the best stoppers going. I only stopped from 30mph in 4/5 metres dead. It really hurt(!) but it would have hurt more if I ploughed into the tosser that pulled out in front of me! Gaz.
  17. Hopefully everyone that replied to this thread is going still, I think Monkey has dropped out now though he hasn't said for sure. Gaz.
  18. Theres a comparison on SF that I remember reading a while back. The conclusion was that the stock brakes will stop quicker than the brembos in all applications, its just that the Brembo's will hold up to sustained track abuse for longer... Gaz.
  19. I was waiting till the weekend to see if anymore emails come in, its likely going to be Newcastle area so far though... Gaz.
