Just got a few details from Future Publishing regarding there latest magazine, due out soon. Its an all new magazine called "J Tuner, Japanese Car Culture". It's aimed at 25-40, is high quality, perfect bound and is purely for the more discerning Japanese enthusiast. I'm told there will be absolutely no naked women in the magazine at all Sounds good. You can have a look on the DVLA (http://www.dvla.gov.uk) Model Reports (http://www.modelreports.com) and SVA site (http://www.dft.gov.uk/stellent/groups/dft_roads/documents/page/dft_roads_506874.hcsp) Theres no VVTi model report currently (for the engine and gearboxes). The car itself is no problem. With an ESVA you'll have to take quite a few mods off too... Gaz.

As Jurgen says, thats gonna be impossible currently, unless you don't want it road registered. Maybe in a year's time when they've got the model report. Gaz.

Tell us what year and model your thinking of importing and I'll try to help (PM me if you like) Basically you pay 17.5% VAT and 10% duty on a motor vehicle imported into the UK, this is based on the declared value. The do spot checks to check if the declared value matches up with the book price. Regards, Gaz.

We've supplied a few TRD bush kits to customers now and they have also commented on how "able" it makes the car feel. I think this will be a popular upgrade as the cars get older Regards, Gaz.

They quoted me £1900 on a Toyota Aristo Vertex (Supra engine), 4 years NCB, access/own other (performance) cars etc. I'm 22. I thought it was high but elephant wanted £2300 and Bell Direct £2650! Gaz.
