  1. You've gotta love the justice system: Eh?
  2. Mine came on Tuesday too
  3. Cheaper. The devalue the currency by loaning more money, generally. The USD becomes weaker against other currencies, so our Sterling gets stronger against theres. Gaz.
  4. I'm not a Gin person but have a Tanqueray here in my home bar for when I feel the need for Victorian Mojito. However it makes a lovely G&T I hear. Gaz.
  5. Thats nice. I spy a Bentley Arnage in background too, I take it thats not yours too
  6. It was on BBC Breakfast this morning too and I was thinking the same thing myself, its not like these are minor offences either, you'd think the Police would be doing the work... Gaz.
  7. Its not a Supra colour no, but Gaz has it spot on I would say the rear offside shock/spring/other is damaged yeah looking at the pics. I have to say I don't think its cheap at all, in this climate, with that mileage. Gaz.
  8. The VAT will be reduced on fuel too, however they are increasing the Duty on it to make up the difference, so in effect no change. And you can guarantee when they increase VAT in 2010 again, the duty won't be reduced Best Regards, Gaz.
  9. I've got a Power Enterprise FSC that I could let you have cheap on clearance? Gaz.
  10. Can do new for £480, inc a little discount & VAT at 15% Gaz.
  11. Lol. That's one to remember
  12. Are you trying to say they are not as stupid as they look Tony
  13. Hmm... some interesting measures. Happy the VED has been deferred. The VAT thing was a given, 13 months is horrible though as everyones prices are going to have to be revised twice in a year. Putting the duty up on fuel - the absolute t0ssers. They should be reducing it further still even with the VAT cut as we are still crippled by duty on fuel compared to other nations. Like others have said, this whole country relies on fuel, the reduction here alone would make a significant difference to everyones costs. Short term has been good in the markets - however I am extremely worried that the Sterling will be devalued yet further in coming weeks/months/years, which for us particularly is a concern. Gaz.
  14. Yep spot on. The higher rate is no surprise though. However, to be fair, several other EU countries have this rate - France is 48%, Germany 45%, Netherlands 52%, Spain 45% etc Gaz.
  15. Whats everyones thoughts on this then? The VAT reduction is by far the most interesting - a drop to 15%. Good for spending, however its a concern that the discount will not be passed onto customers. The VAT reduction is a nightmare for small business because at this time of year, all the price lists and catalogues have been produced for next year already - which means wholesale changes that will cost more in the long term. Its likely that they are changes to VED (Vehicle Excise Duty), corporation tax, income tax for higher earners, flexibility to paying tax bills etc. Gaz.
  16. Its doesn't have any facelift features though (that is cars built after May 1996). Rear Light, Front Lights, Front Bumper Lights, Rear Quarter Lights are all pre-facelift...
  17. He was disappointed with his trainer obviously, but he was totally outclassed so you can't blame them really. He was hanging on to Hatton from about the 6th round onwards! Gaz.
