  1. We are thinking of going in December or January, and are looking to hire a 4x4, but little point if the roads are impassable.
  2. As it says on the tin, has anyone been to Iceland especially in winter? Whats it like if you want to travel outside of Reykjavik, are the roads kept clear in winter? Are there many petrol stations and are they open 24/7. Is english widely spoken?
  3. Ive stripped every nut and bolt from a supra, its hard work!
  4. Isnt that a man walking behind the woman being interviewed about 50 seconds in?
  5. The trouble with looking for problems with suspension is that you need to look at it in its normal range of operation which is hard to do on axel stands.
  6. Ive put a few parts up on ebay: Rubber and plastic stock intake pipes: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132057902&rd=1&rd=1 Rear wiper motor: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132051153&rd=1&rd=1 Spoiler: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132046457&rd=1&rd=1 Tailgate struts: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132059603&rd=1&rd=1 Alternator (manual car) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132044074&rd=1&rd=1 J-spec rear callipers: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132049744&rd=1&rd=1 J-spec front discs: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132053927&rd=1&rd=1 Ali intake pipes: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132056541&rd=1&rd=1 Sparkplug / cam cover: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=140132060836&rd=1&rd=1
  7. I would check them yourself. Sorry I dont have a pic so I will try to explain, from my (usually poor ) memory. On the wishbone toward the wheel end you will see a small shaft linking the wishbone to the anti roll bar, its only about 2 inches long. There will be a nut holding it in place and in the centre of the thread the nut is on will be a hole for an allen key to stop it turning while you turn the nut. (both ends are the same IIRC) If your unlucky it will be rusty and the hexagon in the hole will round off. Try to get at it with the car on the ground, if you cant with the car up and well supported jack under the outer balljoint (use some wood) just to move the arm up a little. Put ring end of the spanner on the nut, allen key in the end, hold it, while tightening the nut. The should be tight, even 1/2 a turn loose is enough to cause some real nasty noises over bumps.
  8. Drop Links Wont knock when jacked up and as the thread is pulled at an angle you cant tell they are loose unless you put a spanner on them.
  9. I have just the handle if anyones interested, the mounting blocks arent that expensive from Toyota.
  10. If you're buying for an NA please satisfy yourself that it will fit as I have no way of checking and a sale is final.
  11. Face lift dash panels. Please note my camera has made the colour look much lighter than it actually is, which is maginally lighter than the pre facelift ones. These panels are in PERFECT condition except a little deterioration to the chrome rings around the dials which is hardly noticable. £80 + post,......... although id like these to be picked up from either Southampton or Oxford, as I would hate the mail monkeys to ruin them! EDITED TO ADD: The colour of all the panels are the same, the binical cover looks ok in the pics, again the first pics look much lighter due to my camera.
  12. I would imagine it would but best post up in tech and ask to make sure.
  13. Cusco front strut brace. Was keeping it for my car but cant be bothered to modify the scoop. £75 inc postage to the UK
  14. PM'd, sorry for the delay.
  15. Thats a shame, be good to catch up with you again.
  16. You need to be there as you can take me this time and buy the drinks!
  17. I have one kicking around somewhere.
  18. Tailgate and spoiler still available here in southampton, im willing to split, make me an offer.
