  1. I'm gonna back the dc2 as well, the import looks better though. Maybe not a girls car, but you can always thrash it round a track when it's wet
  2. No, no, no i'd prefer to be stock than have that kit on. Doesn't even look like a supe.
  3. This is an easy question but one i can't find if i search. I need to tighten up on of the nuts on my spoiler as it's a little loose and letting rain in This is accessed by taking off the plastic panelling on the boot lid. But how do you get the dam thing off I would have thought it just pulls off? But i've tried quite a bit of force and it doesn't want to come off and i'm wary of breaking plastic lugs. Any help? Cheers J
  4. Today J spec Silver on my private road i call the A470, on mobile at the time, lucky it wasn't a public road
  5. I don't think that applies with sky does it? My brother just got a new blue flame exhaust, rang them and they just sent out the mod declaration sheet with no charge. If only all companies were like this
  6. thanks for that, thinking it has 2nd car/daily driver possibilities.
  7. The parking spaces where i work are really tight and the rare occasion i commute in the car, i'm worried that one of my collegues will ding my doors. Not sure of the best policy for getting damage paid for should it happen.
  8. ... Such as pulling out of a slip lane, cars move to the middle lane to let you out, you step on the loud pedal and they never even get close to your car
  9. I'm not sure if this is model specific but on the side of the seat i have electric lever which moves the seat forwards and back, electric lever that changes the inclination of the seat, and a wheel (not electric) that changes the lumber support at the back of the seat.
  10. The wheel try turning it completely the other direction, raises the back of the seat. Took me a while to realise this
  11. I'm just happy my plates are foreign when i drive abroard so cameras don't land me with points and fines. Should i then have road tax refunds from the UK when i'm not in the country with my car?
  12. yep that looks good to me. Unfortunatley i have my right reverse light with a red bulb which looks terrible when reversing Someone needs to put a little motor kit together so it can pop out the bottom of the bumper if ever required.
  13. Nice Silver UK spec coming up the hill opposite Talbot Green. Typically i wasn't in my Supra, but my clio
  14. The steering wheel can be lowered via lever on left. To take out stereo the whole dash has to be removed.
  15. Mine's off, but i don't turn it off when i start up, it's off all the time unless i turn it on. Though it doesn't light on the dash, unless i lose traction in which case it tells me and/or cuts power if i had the traction control on. I've heard that when drag racing it's actually bad to have the traction control on as you put a lot of stress through it?
  16. Limits in the wet with a standard set up are quite low, or maybe just me On the ring you get overtaken by everything at first, as you just don't know how tight the corners are and where the track goes next Therefore you get overtaken by all sorts of embarrasing cars, that would never happen on a road. But equally once you begin to know the track you can over take bikes and porsche 911's
  17. ah yes that would be me Yeah i think i'd done 1 or 2 laps when i met you, so i'm going to blame familiarisation with the ring for being overtaken The 3rd lap i did was foolishly in the wet, spun it twice in 1 lap! Saved it first time just missing the armco. 2nd time managed to go over a drain and up the bank just after Adenau (spl?) had to be towed off the bank, as my talent ran out Learned valuable lesson about never going out in the wet ever again in a rwd car. With much luck the car is almost completely undamaged, except a new kerb mark in the rims and a scratch down the passenger side (should wax out b4 japshow). Now trying to work out when to go back next year after some choice mods.
  18. Nice red UK spec supra, not seen before, between leckwith and culverhouse cross on dual carriage way. Was on the opposite side, didn't wave and flash all happened so quick.

  20. yeah in penarth tescos in Wales.
  21. I only paid 93.9p for mine which i was quite happy about considering it was over a quid recently. Still another sneaky rise and we're glad it's only 93.9p

    Wales Meet #3

Going to jap show finale and weekend b4 nurburg, so really got to go with something sooner 23/9/06 would be good (ignore my vote hadn't read chenco couldn't do that date )
  23. i've seen a video else where which highlights all sort of problems with it being a jumbo jet such as no objects got blown away on the lawn for example or the highway that the jumbo past on its flight path. If you look at a pic of the hole just after the event there is no wings damage? Did they just disintegrate? I'm very open to the missile option, that has been hinted at before.
  24. - yep used martin for a clutch top rate! just 100 miles round trip from Cardiff hence i was looking at hyeline. I was thinking interpro/mkiv store for uprating the engine (long term) but something local for servicing/MOTs. ah cool still hadn't got anywhere with looking for a good body shop. Will check them out, do you know which road in Ely they're on? Do you know how much respray is yet as i'll be looking for this next year -cheers but i can't go
