  1. Thanks guys, will find out tomorrow....
  2. It's suddenly got to that time of the year where it's bloody cold!!! The rear window's now getting frosted over, was going to use the rear window heater but as the window is tinted I just want to make sure it won't mealt the tint. Anyone know if it's ok?
  3. Just by the Tesco Express, I was in the green and waved, you waved back but your lady passenger didn't look impressed with you doing so:rolleyes:
  4. I was just finishing cleaning the car, went to pull the cigarette adaptor on the hoover out, and it pulled the whole bloody thing out. The wires behind it with the 2 white plugs on aren't long enough to pull through the hole (were very taught and didn't want to yank anything out), and therefore I can't connect it back up. Is this an easy job, or is it a take the dash to pieces? If it is then I'll go without the cigarette lighter and pop down to the local garage next time I need to hoover it.
  5. 'to win the fight you can spray blood in his face'?!?!?!? lol that is priceless:rlol:
  6. was looking into this as was flipping between buying the Supra and GTO. All the research I found was to stay away as the engines weren't that great and had to be rebuilt in a lot of cases. Not as much fun as the Supra. They have alot of kit/electric gadgets apparently that not only make them very heavy but are prone to go wrong. I'm sure someone on here had loads of Supras through the garage for minor repairs, with not as many GTOs but they all had engine rebuilds...(and not cheap either on the twin turbo) My mate's dad has one, he used to have a Supra and prefers the Supra. Go for a drive and make up your own mind. Looks wise I think they're really nice, but unless you have plenty of spare cash around I'd stay away. Question would be why part ex a Twin Turbo for an N/A?
  7. how much did they go for? my nephew is after one as he wants a sports car like uncle Darren with a big spoiler on the back [GRIN][/GRIN] did it come in Green?
  8. it's the sound effects that get me....[GRIN][/GRIN] if you're taking note by the way, be careful not to repeat some of his ideas, i.e. smash a bottle in a guys face, stab him with a reciept holder etc., or you'll be the one in the shit with the law. If he's coming at you with a knife though, different ball game. Very situation dependant. and definately don't break a guys leg because he called your missus a minger, you'll be up to your neck in it...be bigger and walk away as the guy's obviously after a scrap, let him fight someone else and let them be responsible for what they do. just my sensible 2p's worth:innocent: nice clip though, made me smile through my hangover...
  9. What's the pros/cons of retro fitting an active front spoiler? How easy is it to do and what's the damage to the wallet? I know people sometimes remove them because of weight/incompatability with body kits etc., has anyone retro fitted one and was it worth it in your opinion, i.e. did it provide better grip in corners etc.
  10. scoop definately: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/vbpicgallery.php?do=big&p=3362 unfortunately it's just cosmetic on mine, maybe when I get some spare time I might look at enhancing it to fully functional....
  11. my old man knackered one of his wheels (rim included) and got a payout from the council for both a new tyre and a new wheel because they hadn't repaired a pot hole, so definately worth a try. As for laser alignment etc. anyone recommend a place in Wokingham/Reading?
  12. found the culprite, have got a bump in the front right tyre on the inside, must've been from a bloody pot hole, new tyres on monday wil sort that out. Only wish I could remember where it was so I could get the council to pay for it. May have to do tracking as well. Anyone know of any bad potholes on the centre/right of the left hand side of the road anywhere near Reading/Wokingham so I can get photo evidence, will save me some dosh.

  14. what pressure should I be running the tyres at? I've got 19" rims with Continentals on them. cheers
  15. good call, will check tonight, last thing I need is for the wheel to fall off....
  16. happens all the time now, just noticed it last week, did hit a bitch of a pot hole so may have done something to the tracking. what's the cost of this now-a-days?
  17. I've just noticed that there's a bit of play/wobble in the steering wheel, i.e. driving straight on a decent surface and the wheel's wobbling slightly left to right, is it the tracking? or something worse? How much is it to get the tracking done if it is that? And any recommendations around Wokingham area on where to get it done? Cheers
  18. up for this, would be interested to see what it's got 1.Scooby 2.Razza
  19. just got a new mast as the old one's knackered. To remove the nut is it just a case of get out the pliers and twist anti clockwise? Don't want to start breaking other bits...
  20. forget that, just seen your location, not worth it, probably not referring to me anyway, think it's time I turned it in....
  21. not sure if this is to me, but if it is, I haven't got one, exhaust was on the car when I was lucky enough to find it. If you have one could I borrow it for a day (if close by)?
