  1. not sure i should come in here its so bitchy but its entertaining so here are my thoughts. my previous supercar e55 went from £18000 to £13250 in 10 months and 10k extra miles.it made me sick seeing it drop so i sold it then i bought a not so super car audi a8 for £5 K which i ran for 8k and sold foR £5300 (true) It was a good car but not like the merc so i sold it to get the same performance back in the supra.if you want awesome performance you pay the price in running and depreciation and in this respect the toyota supra offers great value even if you lose a couple of grand a year. my supra gives me the same sence of occasion as my freinds £30K BMW M5 AT A FRACTION OF THE PRICE UK TT 49K HKS PIPE INDUCTION 19" SPLIT RIMS EIBACH SPRINGS(BILSTEIN SHOCKS FULL DECAT THOR FCD NCK PLUGS GREEDY BOOST CONTROLLER AND BLITZ BOOST GAUGE IN GARAGE AND POST READY FOR NEXT WEEK HE HE HE ) I THOUGHT BUY AN ALMOST STANDARD UK TT LOW MILES BUY THE BITS RUN MODDED THEN RETURN TO STANDARD AND SELL BITS ON HERE TO MINIMISE DEPRECIATION CAR COST 8850. BPU ABOUT 1200 JUST IN MY 10K BUDGET IF I KEEP FOR 5 YEAR AND SELL AS A MINT 80K MILE UK FOR £3500 THEN THATS ABOUT 1250 A YEAR DEPRECATION THATS MY PLAN IF IT WORKS IT WILL BE A 400BHP SUPERCAR BARGAIN. IF IT DOESNT THEN I DONT CARE NOW ANYWAY. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO CRY ABOUT A BIT OF DEPRECIATION. SORRY FOR WAFFLING GOT TO BE BETTER THAN BITCHING Richard

  6. thanks for your reply. my car is already lowered with eibach springs and ive decided to go with bilstein sport shocks its cost effective and the same set up as my previous german motors which gave v good handling with a fair ride possibly a better bet with my roads ,rides but thanks anyway.

  8. hi, loving the car being modded next week uk decat ,tfcd, iridium plugs, boost controller, already hks cat back and induction. im new to all this could someone answer. what would be best boost controller? dont want a complex multi monitering thing as i am not really a gadget man. also i know that most controllers have base boost when switched off then two further boost settings to be set but what is the purpose of the balance control and what effet does it have on driving, power etc. cheers

  10. hi has anybody had cooling probs after fitting fmic mines a uk auto and have been told things could get pretty hot with the rad being covered by the front mount? would it be easy to fit extra fan? where can i get something suitible or will everything be fine? thanks
  11. hi, dont need the turbos mate but could you tell me what boost your uk car acheives without cats did you need restricter ring or did the waste gate cope .what ebc settings, what bhp? and was everthing reliable or has something broke hence the big single?.am decatting next week + tfcd cool plugs , fmic ,already hks catback and inductionkit .am hoping base boost will be about 0.95-1 bar then 1.1 and 1.2 on the ebc for reliability does this shound right? thanks
  12. hi ,as i said in my opening post veiwed this motor monday and it looks great goes awesome. soooo nearly bought it but got swayed by a late model low mile uk model it was bloody close, my mate thought i should have bought bolts but you have to go with your feelings and im well pleased. anyway good luck with sale wish mine had those hybrids

  15. hi all. just picked up my new car. love it !:ecstatic:THANKS to those of you who e mailed me regarding sale of your own cars. sorry i have not got back to you thanks anyway. this site has been a great help for me in deciding what car to get i went along feeling very clued up. buy the way it was a close call between my car and member bolts(aerotop) car which i veiwed on the same day it really is an awesome looking car mechanically perfect and seriously fast. hope i made right desision .any way what do you think? 96 uk spec car has been repaired but to an unbelievable standard. auto 49k miles full history lightly modded hks catback pipe induction kit eibach lowered. new 19" split rims after much research on this site i have purchaced thor fcd cooler plugs and decat pipes from whifbits and a fmic from ebay £336. my car has always ran standard boost and intend to go to a max of 1.2 bar.should be fine on low mile motor and uk turbos.shouldnt need restricter ring but may need boost controller. hoping for 390-400 bhp at hubs and long term reliability. car is already faster than my previous merc e55 amg 354bhp.
