The 'cups' on the ends of the Goodridge hoses are less deep than on the standard ones so you will have thread showing. Shouldn't be a problem mate - I did all 4 of mine a few days ago and had similar concerns. Definately improves brake feel though :) I also changed the brake fluid at the same time:) Quick Q - why only the fronts??

Chers peeps. I'm still a little shell-shocked (we had a 15hr labour starting at 3am) but completely over the moon :) No worries about selling the Supe - I bought her a nice little 5-door Focus a few months ago in preparation for all this (even managed to sneak in an 1800 engine LOL) so we are good to go!!! I had no problems at all - both sets took about 1hr to fit and mostof that time was spent checking and re-checking LOL. The set I have in my dips have been there for about 5months now with no issues at all. Sooooo much better and I had the PIAA Extreme White bulbs (£70 a pair!!) fited in all my lights :)

Wife's fine cheers dude. Little one is being a pain in the ass. We went out on Friday nite and I had a few beers. Got in late and at 3am the little bugger decided to kick the plug out - her waters broke!! No labour or anything but they're keeping her in hospital for the time being. So I am once again wifeless :( - gotta cook for myself Have to do Bluewater just to pick up some Krispy Kreme doughnuts before I starve :)

The most awkward part was actually joining the Goodridge hoses to the hard pipes - fiddly but not really a problem

Both of my sets are 4300k from Vision Bulbs off ebay. £150 and £130 a set. One set's ben in for a fair few months now with no issues at all :)

The lower temp bulbs give out more light though!! Still makes a hellova difference to the lights - especially if you're J-spec . I did the dips and fogs but won't do the main beams as there's a delay between switching them on and them coming up to temp.

..........fitting my Goodridge brake hoses - they make a noticable difference to brake pedal feel:) , fitting a HID kit to my foglamps to match the ones in the dip beam - much better:) , and mostly sulking as I couldn't go to JAE since the ballast is in hospital :( Seems like the little ballast got bored and pulled the plug out - her waters have broken - but then decided to stay put for a while longer - no labour and 6 weeks still to go:(

Easy dude, top section (unplug leads to odo, hazards etc), gear surround, clock surround and then the main left hand piece :)

LOL!!! Now you say that I remember!! I tried to figure it out and whilst I was checking the connections on my head unit I heard it clicking in time to the leccy aerial going up and down!!

I have one of those too (and no ABS)!! I asume it's standard fit but redundant without the rest of the ABS system??? I left well alone just in case it has some input into the main ECU

Had a Mk1 MR2, then an st185 GT4 so the Supra was the logical next step when I killed my 4 I wanted a turbo but couldn't (a) afford the initial purchase costs and (b) wouldn't be able to afford all the inevitable modding that I'd 'need' to do

Like I said, it very much depends on the amount of oil. A light misting is quite common - mine didn't stop until I'd fitted a catch can. Best way to check is to take off the inlet hose to the turbo and have a look in there (bear in mind a replacement second-hand turbo can be had for around £150 for a ct26 or £250 for a ct20). Having said all that, what sort of price is being asked? It may be as well to forget it and find another motor. Have you checked the 'For Sale' section on the 4 forum?? Cheers, chrisfalcke

Some 185s run fine on vent to atmosphere BOVs, others prefer a recric. Oil is quite usual unless it's a lot. As to the boost problems, it sounds very much like there's a boost leak somewhere - what condition are the hoses in? Chech the small hoses around the TPS - left hand side at the back on the bulkhead. Actuator pressure should be 7psi I think, possibly 9. As to the ABS on full lock - could be a tight wire somewhere possibly?
