  1. From colsoop - a beautifully polished N/A inlet system which includes a polished throttle body, Siamese pipe and plenum chamber all held together with stainless steel fixings. All for only £175 delivered N.B. The throttle hot water pipes have been removed from the throttle body so you will need to do the 'throttle heater bypass' mod (takes about 2min to do) :)
  2. From colsoop Add a bit of bling to your engine bay with this lovely, chromed exhaust heat shield. £30 delivered
  3. Personally I'd leave it wheels off if I was going away for a holiday - no rims to get stolen and a very difficult car to knick with no wheels :)
  4. I don't think Hi-Spec have much of a reputation mate - read a few threads that slate them!
  5. Mate, have a little search - you should be able to find several threads about these brakes :)
  6. I got mine off ebay - a little fiddling about and they were fine (took me a few minutes to re-wire and fit each one)
  7. Cheapest = Acer N35 http://www.totalpda.co.uk/Acer-N35-Lite-GPS-PDA-with-Destinator-Software.aspx
  8. If she has been spoken to like that by someone in a senior position it constitutes bullying!! If he has done/is doing it to her then the chances are others are suffering as well. She should do her best to gather evidence and construct a written log of the incidents and greivences and take it to the board of governors. Also, if she is made to work with violent people, around whom she feels genuinely unsafe, she has grounds for a law suite in that her employers (the school, and ultimately the boar) are not taking reasonable steps to ensure her health, safety and welfare within the workplace. I would strongly suggest she takes legal advice and seeks union advice/support. Hope it works out for her mate. Chris (college lecturer:()
  9. Had my fair share of Fizzies as a youff:)
  10. It's about £30 I seem to recall:) I got one for mine ages ago and was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was from Mr T :)
  11. Have a search for 'D2@ mate - it's been covered a few times now or try here http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=82629

    Misused words

You done AFFECT and EFFECT yet???
  13. Yeah, but I made both my segments indicators too (sidelights in the headlight asembly
  14. I do know of the tool but I don't know of ways around it (unless you have a manual transmission) - it may be possible to undo the nut by sticking a socket over it, resting a breaker bar against the chassis and turning the engine over on the starter (undo the HT lead first). If the job's been done before and some plum has used loctite you're gonna need a whole lotta force to get the nut off (after destroying two sockets we ended up welding a socket onto the nut and using a 4ft breaker bar to shift the bugger!!) Have fun :)
  15. Never got to find out I was all ready to pay and could never get through to the guy so he could take my money. I ended up getting a set from Fensports for a very similar price and arrived the very next day (as usual from them) :) All my posts regarding this were subsequently deleted:(
  16. Basic socket set and that's about your lot mate! Maybe a block of wood and a lump hammer to 'persuade' the old disc off the hub
  17. :search: Nope! I'm in no huge rush to get it out of my garage - it's safe enough:Pling: Just don't want it to get forgotten when your car goes back up to you:)
  18. Argyle (1988) and Merhabain (1968) are two of the more popular theorists on communication:) BTW - still got your zorst sat here safe and sound:)
  19. Matt H is partially correct. Most research into communication claim that the actual words spoken account for around 10% of the actual message, the rest is indeed conveyed via body language, facial expressions and also vocal tone, emphasis, intonation etc.
  20. Pah!! Bloody luxury:d I once had a Daff 850 auto (cost me some beer) - now THAT was a crap EVERYTHING:Pling: And yet it was the best car I ever had - no expectations = no disappointment. Never worried about it, never even locked it (had a stubby screw driver permanently stuck in the ignition) - that car lasted me 8 months (gave it away in the end) and only ever cost me a few quid in fuel LOL:d (ok, back on topic now)
  21. Ah! He is 'normal' in his alter-ego (Clark Kent) - all the others are 'super' in their alter-egos
