  1. Much info here mate http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=89301&highlight=GS300
  2. ..........and isn't the term 'Gung-ho'?
  3. I made my own up and noticed very little difference either way. The added noise made it worthwhile though
  4. ...and no mention of British police wasting peeps (tube train passenger, man carrying a table leg etc.) If you got guns - you got casualties. A simple equation which people often forget. Guns (and bullets) are non-denominational (even though the Brits did try years and years ago), international and racially impartial: they don't give a fuck who they kill:Pling: This sort of thing is not an American phenomenon - it's a gun phenomenon
  5. Must admit I prefer the looks of the earlier (pre-facelift) cars too (and the price ) - shame I can't seem to find a late pre-facelift with the VVTi lump in it (ideal for supercharging:eyebrows: )
  6. The GS300 ticks almost all the boxes for me - 4 door, rear wheel drive, jap engine with potential to be played with, lots of gadgets, leather, good looks, 'cheap' (i.e. around £4-5k) BTW Martin, how much is your Aristo up for?? (unlikely to be within my current budget but fun to ask anyway)
  7. I'll join you!!! Not actually got one yet but my father-in-law is giving me his (2L '02, 90k) which I'll probably keep for a few months then I'll be looking to trade in for a GS300:d
  8. ...............and make sure there's someone around to not find you for a couple of weeks :)
  9. Thankfully I just bought some shares in GreenFlag breakdown :)
  10. Looks good mate - I did something similar with mine - further forward and with a heatshield and the flooring cut out to allow even more cool air in from the vent below :)
  11. Plenty of those in any culture/nation/religion mate
  12. Just gonna check mine now (and the cupboard under the stairs) - no relatives missing but who knows what I might find??
  13. Bugger:( Too late for me now - the car's dead. If I had known earlier I could have saved myself £15 and three months:Pling:
  14. As already said, glad you're ok and in a position to sort the car out (possibly) but next time ............... well, I think you've already leant that lesson:( Chin up dude
  15. Before this turns into a 'no insurance witch hunt' - is insurance a legal requirement in Sweden? I ask (again) because I can see the way this thread is likely to go - let's remember - different country, different rules
  16. Bad luck mate - feel for ya. Is insurance compulsory in Sweden?
  17. Polished? Straight? No scratches? The piece behind it is a strip of ally I cut and polished (by hand) to go between the slam panel and the radiator. dee_rz - I waited just over three months for this, you said you would have it polished FOC - if this is polished you wanna have a serious word with your polisher dude. Sorry mate but I'm really not happy with this at all
  18. Not yet but I'll probably bung some up later on
  19. ChrisSZ

    Clock

Did it break when you dropped it then mate ?? (told you it wouldn't bounce )
  20. Not enough oomph mate - a .22 would be much better :d
  21. Twisted?? Me?? Never :innocent: As to tried it out - most definitely :eyebrows: Works best in the cooler weather (the butter doesn't melt). During the summer months waterproof grease can be used instead or VHT grease (the problem then is that there's more residue) I'll bet there are a few other members on here who have done this (not mentioning any names but look to the slightly older ex-military chaps;)
  22. Air pistol, coarse ground salt, butter and a little patience is what's needed mate - ambush the little buggers with a barrel full of salt and butter:) Hurts like merry hell, leaves very little in the way of evidence (just a greasy stain and a red parch) and no ballistics or finger prints LOL
  23. Got my panel today :( Bent by the postman, supposed to be polished?? and scratched :( Overall, not impressed:Pling:
  24. Not covered by your household contents insurance then?? Might be worth checking.
  25. Nahh - much easier with a beer in one hand - refreshment and no breaks LOL
