  1. Wahey!! I had a 2.8 years and years ago. De-bumpered, whale tail spoiler and a V8 conversion - loved it:)
  2. Where?? I really, really need one;)
  3. No good Saturday as I work but I'm free Sunday if that's any good to you mate? PM me if necessary.
  4. Hate to say it dude but someone else beat you to it with this one (I'll have a search for the relevant thread) Duh! Someone else types faster than me:(
  5. Look the same as the Vision Bulbs ones.
  6. OK, sounds like it is the ballast then. You could always try these guys http://www.visionbulbs.com/vb_product.php - I think they did the group buy on here not so long ago. I've had two sets from them and was very pleased with them
  7. Two for white drivers, the rest are there just in case any ethnics come past :d
  8. Silly question, but have you thoroughly checked the wiring? Is it only one side? I had a similar problem and located it by turning the lights on and wiggling the wires until I found one dodgy connection that was causing the problem. :)
  9. If you plan on using the bike on the road then the first thing I'd strongly suggest is changing the horrible knobbly things over for some 'City Slicker' type tyres. Plan some circular routes and get a rough idea of distances, then cycle them once every three days at first (give your 'bits' time to recover). As you get fitter and more into it you'll start to teach yourself about what you need to do but if you're serious you might want to consider getting a cycle computer so you can start timing your rides and measuring distances. The main thing is to enjoy it and don't let it become a chore :)
  10. I did mine myself - needles were spot-on when I finished mate. Be quite happy to give you a hand if you're able to pop down this way (time for another garage BBQ Dave? LOL) :)
  11. Use a hair dryer to warm the area and the glue first - you'll get much better adhesion.
  12. Don't think it went down too well in some circles:( I seem to remember a bit of fuss being kicked up over it. Not the best sort of behaviour if people expect Bluewater to continue to allow meets!!
  13. Should look nice and 'Pimp' on a pink car Andrew :)

  17. Probably not. The question is 'Why?'
  18. As above - it stops the throttle simply snapping shut when you lift of
  19. I have been clearing out my cupboards and found a stack of both mags which I could do with getting out of the way. J Tuner = issues 3 - 14 (all), 17 & 19 Banzai = issues 47 - 64 (all; Sept '05 - Feb '07) Open to offers Please bear in mind (a) I don't wanna sell individual mags and (b) postage will be around £7 I reckon (depending on which set - more Banzai than J Tuner) as they weigh quite a bit. I also have a ton of JP mags but I need to catalogue them first:) All mags in good condition (no posters/pages/bits removed - apart from the odd free gift on the front cover) If there's no interest here I'll bung em on ebay.
  20. You could also try a dark metallic graphite grey colour - looks darker than black
  21. It's the spark/cam belt cover and the rocker covers mate. The rocker covers were powder coated and the cam belt covers were painted with Hamerite If you're planning something similar be VERY careful with powder coated rocker covers - I am now fairly sure that they wrecked two engines (both of the ones in the pics). I believe that some pf the powder coating flaked off from the inside and got it's way down into the oil pump - thus shagging the lump :(

    VW Passat

LOL I think I get ya:blink: The dealer who was going to sell me the Aristo was waiting for the guy who was selling the car to him (in P/X for a later Lexus) to get the private plates transferred. As soon as the Aristo arrived in the dealers I had first dibbs. In the mean time the guy with the Aristo decided to sell it to his daughter so the dealer didn't get it and I was very sad:( And, no, it's me selling the Passat - don't like it (not my kinda car) , but a very good car non the less
