  1. yer around the 4k mark every thing seems ok, i would say its around 2500-3000rpm a feel it hold back then when the second turbo kicks in at arond 4000 it all seems ok so what you said makes sence. yes i have a boost gauge fitted but no others was thinking of getting a AFR one tho so, would be a good idea to get one

  3. i ve just been reading the FAQ's and it this sounds like the problem i am having 3 - Overfuelling. 3a - mild overfuelling - You will get a drop in power. The acceleration will fall off and recover once you leave the rich spot. It kind of feels like you've hit a very strong headwind. but would it be the same for funning lean? is this the fuel pump i need http://www.mkivstore.com/provisioning/eshop/index.php?target=products&product_id=1589
  4. using ik24 plugs fitted 3000mile ago ruffly yes i have a fuel cut defencer fitted and there is know warning lights. doesnt do it on full boost its when you floor it starts to accelerate then holds back the accelerates agian then its gets to the second turbo kicks in and its fine. it doesnt do it all the time noticed it 4-5 times in the last couple of days

  6. i have a j-spec tt 6spd and the last couple of days when i put my foot down its started to go then it feels like it holds back then goes agian filled it up acouple of days ago with shell optimax could it be some bad fuel? about 3weeks ago i fully decated my sup and fitted a CW intercool its running at 1.1-1.2bar and i have not yet uprated my fuelpump could this have something to do with it? it seemed ok till the last couple of days though:search: thanks for your help Neil
  7. fitted my CW SMIC the other weekend feels stronger from 3000rpm onwords but my old cooler was f*@ked all the core was falling to bits if i touched it.
  8. thanks for the replys the diffrent design doesnt bother me theres a set on ebay at the mo for £200 but there is no picture and it does not say what condition they are in. thanks again
  9. i thought i could remember reading some where on here of some one fitting the gt4 brakes to the front of the j-spec supra i cand find it now so not sure if i dreamt it:rolleyes: does any body know if they do fit if so are they the same size as uk spec supra or are they just 4pots that are better then the j-spec 2pots?
  10. when i had my clifford fitted they had to turn the sensitivity of the proximity sensor down he did it from the key thob dont know what he pressed and in what order tho:shrug:

  12. no glow plugs are on a push button you keep your finger down for 20seconds then try and start it. i ll try slackening off the injector pipes to bleed them tomorrow thanks for the sugestion.
  13. my girlfriend has a very old bedford cf horse box, never normaly have a problem starting it but today it just will not start, the glow plug light comes on but when you turn the key it just keeps turning over and over i ve tryed priming the pump/filter with the handpump thing didn't make any diffrence. The only thing i can think is the glow plugs are knackered anybody any other ideas what it could be or how i test glow plugs?

Not found out how my fogs were wired up yet. but i have had the back lights of and the green wire with a white strip on both inner brake lights had just been cut and a new black wire atached to the bulb on the right then tacken over to the left hand side. so i have removed the black wire and conected the green/white strip wires back to gether. but i now have i a buld gone when i turn the lights on but seems ok when i use the brakes i ll just have to rewire my fogs as shown on here:rolleyes:

  17. could of been i ll have to have a look in to how my fog light is wired up all i know at the mo is that the inner brake lights are just used for fog lights don't work when braking
  18. i dont know if there is a relay used in the fog light i ve not found out how its been wired up. it has never brought the warning light on in the 6months i have had the car.

Reversed of my drive satday and the fault lamp came on when i braked checked my brake lights they were working fine. my fog lights have been wired up to the rear lights but it has never brought the fault lamp on when using my fogs. Dont know how they have been wired up. i have searched and found the part about resoldering the lamp failure unit it's self i did that seemed ok but then 3rd or 4th time of going out in it the failure light came on again. Any idea's??

  23. i live in west hallam 5min's away from ilkeston
  24. i am nearer but i am not sure if mine has been lowered. looks lower then some supras i ve seen.
  25. i was running optimax when i got my supra for the first couple of months then the shell garage was sold to BP so now use BP ultimate as the only shell garage are out of my way to get to them and i can not tell any diffrence between the to fuels.
