    Work Help

Ok, I've been at my job now for 6 years and to be quite honest I'm totally bored of it. There is no way I can progress any further so I'm thinking of looking for another job. Now I'm not a skilled worker, I work in a call center and due to my disability office work suits me fine. However, this year I've had to have 3 months off due to an operation I had to have. Does anyone know if companies tell other companies how many days you've had off or are they not allowed to disclose that information?

  3. If you like Army type games then Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter is a must. Quite surprised no one as mentioned it already.
  4. Was only copied and pasted from another site. Apologies if this is all a load of crap then..
  5. Can you circulate this around especially as Christmas is fast approaching. It has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam:- A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0306 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scan originating from Belize. If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £15 for the phone call. If you do receive a card with these details then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at:- http://www.icstis.org.uk or your local trading standards office. This is a genuine scan and is under investigation by ICSTIS.
  6. Arrest at Gatwick London 15th October A public school teacher was arrested today at Gatwick Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule, and a calculator. At a morning press conference, Home Secretary John Reid said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the Met Police with carrying weapons of maths instruction. "Al-gebra is a problem for us," Reid said. "They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute values. They use secret code names like 'x` and `y` and refer to themselves as `unknowns, `but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with co-ordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle". When asked to comment on the arrest, Prime Minister Tony Blair, speaking from his holiday resort before the planes stopped flying, said, "If God had wanted us to have better Weapons of Maths Instruction, He would have given us more fingers and toes."
  7. My god, my heart skipped a beat then when i saw the registration number as it's only one digit off of being mine.
  8. Wasn't he the Lion in The Chronicles of Narnia?
  9. If people come into this country they should respect our way of life, our social standings. It's like the politicians let in people and bascially put them on the top step in importance, and let the people of thei country feel like a minority. Political correctness is so over the top, I mean, not being able to sing Baa Baa Black Sheep because it's deemed racist, not being able to display a St George Cross in you window incase it offends "non-english" people. Get real, you come to this country, you accept that you are the "England", we are not a muslim country. I watched this program about suicide bombers a while back and there was a brother of one of the guys that blew himself up in Tel-Aviv. He basically turned around and said that they would not be happy until we were all living under Islamic law. I think it's a disgrace that we can't even celebrate St George's day without offending "non-english" people that live here.

  16. Went up to Moddeduk yesterday with another club I'm part of. We were parked up opposite the mkiv club stand. Took a few pictures of the cars that were there so thought I'd share them with you. If any of those are yours I was the guy with the White Supra parked across from you. Wanted to say hello but am shy..
  17. I watched a programme that was on quite late one night about the culture of the suicide bombers. There was an interview with one of the brothers who blew himself up in Tel-Aviv and he basically said that they wouldn't stop until everyone accepted the muslim religion and lived by it.. It does amaze me what goes through the heads of the extremists.
  18. I get that all of the time. I'm an amputee but when I'm wearing my leg and get out of the car when parked in a disabled space I get filthy looks. Once I went to a little pub near me and parked in a disabled bay with the badge on display. This old couple were walking out and the old man came up to me and offered me his walking stick and said to me "here, want to take that aswell". Thinking he was messing about I just smiled. He then said to me why was I parking in a disabled bay to which I replied there was a blue badge on display. He chuckled to himself so I knocked on the fibreglass casing of my leg and told him it was false. The look of shock on his face was priceless, so he shook my hand and apologised. Also parked in a disabled space in tesco's one, with the badge on display. When I came out someone had left a little note on the car saying I shouldn't be parking there and to watch where I park in the future. I was fuming to say the least. It's almost as if because your disabled your not allowed to own a nice car. Grrrrr
  19. I've been searching for some Japanese design number plates (for show use) and haven't had any luck what so ever. Anyone know of any sites where I can look over designs and possibly order some at all?
  20. I have, she's just at Uni 200 miles away during the week!! Got the above mentioned games as well. Been playing dead rising inbetween breaks of test drive. Go find the escavator.. such a funny tool to use against the zombies. Had me and my mate pissing ourselves non-stop whilst using it. Up in the North Plaza if you haven't already found it.
  21. I've got this and have been playing it non-stop. So addictive. I believe Atari mentioned something about the possibilty of a Supra being added at a later date in some DLC.
  22. Just watching Sky News and there're saying that he's been critically injured but is stable in hospital. Here's hoping there's nothing to seriously wrong with him and he makes a full recovery
