Anyoneone know a decent courier for shipping alloy wheels. Trying to find somone that doesn't want to charge me £300!! Looking for a pickup in Poole area up to Newcastle if anyone has anyone they use/can suggest. Cheers

  3. Are they single piece wheels mate? Just thinking for refurb costs Pm me what your after for them?
  4. Any pics? What width are they mate? Ta
  5. Just posting this up in case the set I thought I had sorted has fallen through After a set of wheels, ideally with tyres. Tyres do not have to be supreb, but do have to be road legal. Just so I can get them on the car and then swap them out for good ones in a few weeks when finances are better Don't really want stock wheels, but after a nice set of 17 or 18s'. Wheels must be in good nick and not need refurbed, or require any parts. Anyone got anything fitting the bill? Ta.
  6. For stubborn things as well download ity bity process manager. Also for more protection download Spywareblaster

  9. Sounds cool. The break is very clean though. No paint or anything has come off. How long this has been done for is anyones guess but like all faults on the car I seem to be finding it will irritate me knowing it is there Was hoping it could just be patched from the back to keep it straight and stop it from spreading without the need for a respray. Me not being technical though and from what you have said this don't look like an option.
  10. Not being techicaly minded in anyway but I think it is plastic
  11. Looking at my motor today I have realised that I have a crack (about 3-4 inches long in bottom half of the side of my side skirt. Although it is cracked no paint or anything has came off, so guess the back edge of the side skirt could be repaired to stop it from spreading anymore without the need for spraying or anything. Anyone know anyone up in the north east who would carry out work like this. Don't really want to be removing the side skirt myself as guessing it would be easier as well with the car raised up to work underneath it. Any help appreciated. Dave EDIT: Pic below shows area I mean http://www.l1f3.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/crack.jpg
  12. Looking for one of these. My aircon isn't working. Well it is colder when on but not all that much. Was going to just have it regassed. However while getting some work done on my car today the mechanic working on it pointed out that it looks as though something has caused damage to the bar under the radiator and pushed up into it. Looks as though the aircon radiator is leaking causing lack of gas. Not a clue how much one of these will cost though. Anyone bought one/know what damage to expect. Or anyone breaking that has one of these up for grabs? Cheers Dave

  14. They are going as soon as my replacement wheels arrive mate. Was hoping to sell em on for someone wanting to use them for track days or something, as I said above they ain't in what I would call good condition so was hoping to get shot of them with the tyres. The caps on there would need reconed as well I reckon, probably what you have in mind anyway I'm guessing? Pm me over an offer mate, worst I can say is no Dave EDIT: Just noticed as well your only about half an hour down the road as well...
  15. There still up for sale mate. Tried everywhere for the past two months to find a replacement set. Canada, Japan, the US... no joy at all Shame because they are a hell of a set of wheels... just don't want to pay £400 to refurb them without the two caps Have a couple more leads though the past few days about replacement caps... hoping something pans out from them

  21. I bought a set from Currys (£60 or so) think they are made by phillips. One box a transmitter, other a reciever. Lets you use the remote through it as well. Picture and sound as it is on the TV the sky is actually plugged into. The transmitter plugs into the scart on the video (must be switched on to broadcast to other rooms) and the reciever just into a scart socket on my tv in the bedroom. Works a treat.
  22. Are they up for grabs though or attached to your car If for sale drop me a pm fella. Cheers
