On my old escort the key used to lock into the cap to make sure you can't get away without replacing it! Magic idea until one day the key would not come out leaving me stuck at a petrol station lol

Saw it on Sunday about 12:30. I was going to Rochdale on Bury New Road. Very nice looking car but I never saw it in action as it was at a junction :thumbdown

Ok I have (like many other Jap imports) the 1p sized fog light switch that has been drilled into the dash. Now I was looking at replacing this but it has come sooner as some new dash bits I got have got the standard rectangular space next to the electric mirror switch. My question is will the wiring be the same to convert the 1p sized on to the standard bigger one?
