Nope UK and USA are contry specific, Japan is region 2 The USA one has the naff screen (with more reports of dead pixels) The Jap ones (as usual) are better since the Japanese market is harshes, the UK ones will use the same screen but will be rejion bound. Version 1.00 and 1.50 are all able to play hacked games, version 1.51 &1.52 disable hacked games and homebrew. Version 2.00 also does this but adds a browser for wlan browsing. My advise is to go with a Jap one then eBaY it for the games which will be cheaper than the ones sold in the UK. Also if you get a prog called "TooPSP" and a prog like dvd shrink etc, you can add a movie dir on the memory car (500mb min for a full film in mpg4 formatt) and watch it, rather than shelling out the same movie on UMD. 1 gig recomended.

if it was imported the same year as it was made, how can you tell?

Ive looked through autotrader, and wondered how you could tell if the car was imported or not, is there something on the log book etc that says import? or some way of finding out other than the obvious bonnet scoop and headlights. cheers peeps

How come there are hardly any Uk Supras (apart from red automatics). There are loads of imports but hardly any uk ones, Im really after a maunal silver UK TT, should I go for an import instead? Will I get a cheaper better spec one than from the uk?

Yea, im aming for a uk spec car, the insurance is cheaper on a uk tt than an imported n/a are the mkIII and mkIV slightly different cc? i.e MkIII 2994 and MKIV 2997 ?

during 1993-1996 did they only make the uk mkiv tt (not import)

Who are the best for third party insurance?? I tried budget, but I guess they have their cars wrong as apparantly a supra turbo can be insured for £1400
