    Annoying Phrases

I use 'thats fantastic' a lot, or simply 'love it'. 'Beautiful' seems to crop up in my vocabulary often too. I use 'cool' too much lately aparently. Havent really thought about it until this thread. :)When pitching new designs to the Boss, I hope for a 'well done my boy'. But thats pretty well down the middle...I've had 'looks like a cross between Tugboat Willy and a house Brick' at one end of the scale and 'its a real knuckle biter' at the other.

    Annoying Phrases

Just talking to the wife about this. I say 'cool' a lot, and I'm also guilty of a lot of 'at the end of the day' and 'bottom line'. Its obviously subconcious, but now its been pointed out I'm going to make a concious effort to leave it out. My wife says 'shooper' a lot, after watching Fargo. Doesnt annoy me, but I cringe when she uses it in public. She also does the 'woaaaaghhh' bit from Blackadder (the thespians) a lot which really does do my nut in.
  12. Cant compete with that lot:blink: I do a ten hour day on average, but with a wee break at lunch. 12 hours quite often, but only if its on something I've got my teeth into. Contracted for a 35 hr week, the rest is for the love of the job / ludicrous schedules (depends on who I'm talking to). I would imagine Tony (TLicence) would have some horror stories.
  13. Blow me...phlappiflanjophobia is real after all.

    Annoying Phrases

'Awesome'...no its not 'I'm stoked'...oh come on, you are from Dorset. 'its well good'.... 'Let me axe you'...do I reply, or duck ? 'Mint'.... 'Intense'...watched too many The Office episodes. 'No'....WTF ? You live in my house, eat my food and take my money and have the cheek to say no to me ?

    20" wheels dilema

:)Good on you Jazzy...and you have a sense of humour and handle banter a fair bit better than my new mate.
  21. I've got the TJ version, which didnt have any holes either. I've no idea whats involved with the side bits on the TS that go up the wheel arch, but the front edge mountings much the same as the TJ. I used the original lip as a template...I put masking tape along the Seibon lip mounting face, positioned the old lip on the Seibon one back to back and held it there with mini G-cramps. Take time to line them up edge to edge as best you can. I marked off through the original holes onto the masking tape, and drilled the Seibon with a drill large enough to accept the square shoulder on the original bolts. The old bolts / alloy backing plates are a bitch to get off, especially if the bolts are seized...you may need to remove the undertray, and be prepared to have to buy new backing plates as the old ones are easily snapped.
