Yup, Ive had one...small stone blocking a saliva duct under my tongue. I was lucky in that the stone was accessible. Ten minute job with a scalpel sorted it over at ENT dept. It never came back.

Re the boat...Lbm said it, I will too... Total fantasy. Whilst a lovely shape, its totally impractical. Would never get approval from any certifying bodies, would be impossible to live with and a nightmare to crew and operate safely. The guys behind this attractive nonsense know all this of course, and as it stands, its a good old taster for what they claim to be able to do. Good luck to them, but I reckon it will stay virtual.

Over the last week or so, I've seen what look and act like columns of black smoke rising up off the top of several large trees. I've never seen this before, and its only a group of say, five or six trees in a specific place....namely near the roundabout at the top of the A348 in Poole (opposite the Meridien Majestic garage). Each tree has several such columns / plumes rising above them. Trivial, as I made sure to note in the thread title, but fascinating to me anyway. Tiny insects ?

I think the number is the die number which is unique to the individual franking machine. If you have letters from the same source that have different numbers, then Im wrong.

I'm salary paid, based on a 35 hour week. I'm usually in at nine, dont usually take lunch, and I'm out anywhere between 6 and 10 pm, averaging say, a 55 hour week. Sometimes I'm in at 6 am, sometimes I'm a half hour late. I put the hours in on weekdays so I dont feel guilty about having weekends off. I'm always losing out on several days holiday at the end of the year 'cos I don't take them as often as I should. I usually wear Calvin Klein underpants (black) and dress to the left. I pretend not to notice the new girl in Personnel. I go outside to fart, and I kiss the badge every hour or so.
