No your eye's don't deceive....... GAZ suspension> http://www.gaz-shocks.com/ and wim are developing a new kit for the Supra and we are looking for a donor car. The offer 1: Coilover with adjustable platform on an anodized body, 22 way bump/rebound adjustable (single point) self lubricating bearing. 2: Initial offer is fastroad coil rates but this can be upgraded to track if the winner wants. 3: The new coilovers are free 4: The fitting is free 5: The corner weighting is free 6: The Geometry calibration is free Your commitment 1: Initial measurements/ dyno will need to be done at the factory in Essex, once done all the rest will be done at wim Bucks 2: Any future corrections to the product needs to be met without hostility 3: Report back to the club with your opinion of the finished product good or bad. For your security All work will be zero invoiced and at any point you can opt out and the original suspension/calibration returned without argument. First member to pm me with interest and a contact number wins...... I think you have about 10 seconds to reply.

50 plus would be a real mkiv slap in the face for the lesser marques, not that i would say that obviously Mags contacted, food/ water on order, we have the ingredients for an epic meet, i also have a Dodge Ram Viper on site as a company "run-A-round" with the only six speed manual gearbox in the world on site if anyone fancies the shiat scared out of them.

Spot on, thanks for the update JamieP..... I'm really impressed with the numbers, so please members keep adding your name so we can beat the current high of 45 cars at the Mazda MX5 meet. It gets better Some additional area's to the meet looking at the numbers is the motor mags will be invited, GAZ suspension, Arch Enemy and the possibility of a rolling road ....... On top of all that i should be able to raffle a set of tyres for £5 a ticket (all monies goes to charity) one winner takes all. Note on the tyre raffle Shame i have to do this but the law prevails Rules 1: The winner cannot convert the prize to cash 2: The winner "wins" the manufacturing make we selected in advance within that prize and this is not transferable. 3: The winner can upgrade to another make or tyre and the difference in cost is transferable with the winner paying the balance. 4: wim is the only fitting centre, this is not transferable. 5: In the event we do not hold they tyres in stock they will be ordered as soon as possible and fitted at wim centre, we will not be accountable for delays due to production runs. That's it...... Looking good for a really superb meet

Wow, fantastic response, thanks very much. As far as i can see May is fine for me so all a need is you guys to agree the date. At the moment we have 20 cars on the list, the most we had at a meet was 45 so it would be nice to beat that remember these events are also a "meet and greet" so a destination where members can meet each other in an entertaining, safe environment. As said everything is free including the calibrations, by raffle cars will be selected but i cannot calibrate 20+ cars so please understand this, although if we have time we could just take an image of the chassis on some cars just so the owners know if there's a problem or not? Some pointers to avoid disappointment 1: The ramp has a two metre run-up with an additional metre if needed, our track/ drift cars have no problem with this but if your unsure your car will make the grade please look at the images in wim-web for a better prospective. 2: Calibrating the chassis to tune your modifications or tune toward track intentions will not be a problem on the day. 3: If adjusters are seized then the calibration will stop there. On the day the event is to calibrate as many cars as possible, not un-seize adjusters, i'm sure members will understand that. 4: We do have other services (please see webby) i will contact admin to clarify a deal for members. That's it...... This meet is to say thank you to members who have supported wim over the years but in respect to traders here i am absolutely not looking for trade, we are so busy i cannot cope, if a member wants to book they have weeks to wait, so this is a genuine thank you, not a publicity stunt, plus i never bought this to the table anyway. Please keep those numbers growing and solidify a date.... Tony@ wim

Hello everyone and thank you JamieP for bringing this to the club. In conversation JamieP suggested a "Geometry knowledge day" meet to dissolve this Geometry taboo and help explain how to calibrated the stock/modified car. Each meet cost me around 1.5k in running costs, food and wine, so we don't cut corners (excuse the pun) Everything is totally free since you are our guests, any profit made from areas like tyre sales on the day goes to Cancer Research or McMillan's fund. It would be wise to head for a summer booking and it will be on a Sunday to help members attend. Thanks for your time on this topic Regards Tony@ wim

No.. The only time the Geo comes into play is if you change the wheels off-set or fit spacers.
-
It's not done by us but on site the fee is £75 per axle.. Takes around two hours so bring a sandwich.
-
Please do... As our guests we feed and water you, the calibrations are free (let's do loads) we can have a dyno on site and arch rolling to boot. The motor mags are very possible so all we need is some summer heat... Like i said Jan and most of Feb are taken so lets look into warmer times.

Thanks for that, JamieP. Thanks for the visit today guys, i think i enjoyed the calibration much more than you As JamieP said we do offer club meets but unlike others ours are totally free!.... All meets are held on a Sunday and the respective members are regarded as our guests. On our "knowledge day meets" we use your cars to explain this taboo topic "Geometry" and we calibrate the chassis free during the process, the more cars we use the better, and all cars are chosen by lucky dip so everyone has a chance for a free calibration.

Indeed... seemingly the centre now has a new post code. Also did you notice the residents looking up at the sky when you opened the Flux capacitor going up the hill?...... They thought the sound was incoming aircraft
