  1. If someone wants approaching £100 for a second-hand one, then really (IMO) you may as well just buy a new on from PW. I'll PM you...
  2. Didn't spot your post with it only being a couple of minutes before mine. I fully expect I'll end up getting a new one from Paul Whiffin, but I thought it may be worth an enquiry here first...
  3. As per title - UK spec 2nd Decat with the O2 sensor hole. Thanks.
  4. It arrive today Jay and I'm very pleased with it. Thanks again. Steve.
  5. It's just as well I asked! May be able to get it installed over the Bank Holiday weekend then with a bit of luck...
  6. I know three and a half years (exactly) have passed since my post above, but I thought I'd let you know that I did eventually find the problem - about four weeks ago! Hopefully the following may be of some use and potentially save someone a good few hours of wasted time... It did turn out to be the air mixing flap that was causing the problem. When looking from behind the left dash panel (as mentioned above), I could see the actuating arm move ok when the heater temperature knob was turned; what I didn't realise at the time, was that a rod connected to the actuating arm goes down through the heater unit and ends up at point 'A' in the first photo (which is looking up towards the heater unit from the passenger footwell). The actuating arm had come off the air flap lever end as at point 'B' in the second photo (just taken it off again for the photo ) It should be connected as in the third photo at point 'C'. After spending quite some time flushing the system out (which was clean anyway), the fix turned out to be very simple and took no more than a minute or so. Anyway, I've now got a heater that when on maximum it could strip paint.
  7. Chris, just wondering, did your manufacturers give you a rough ETA? Are we looking at mid-May at the moment?
  8. The transmission oil cooler (which comes with brackets) is around €330. Here The mounting brackets don't appear to be available on their own.
  9. I get the same part numbers as quoted above using my UK chassis number in the Toyota EPC.
  10. It's the stock EU spec oil cooler I have - as in the diagram above. Just need the brackets to mount it...
  11. Thanks for the photos. Apart from the lower mounting points (I assume the rubber feet off my aircon condenser will simply attach/bolt on once straightened up?), it does appear to be in better condition that what's on my car at the moment. One query: Where the refrigerant connection is showing the green leak marker dye (I assume that's what it is) in the 5th photo, does some sort of gasket go in between there and the pipework? It doesn't show one in the parts diagram. Let me know what you're after for it (here, or via PM) and we'll take it from there. Thanks again, Steve.
  12. Sounds good... apart from the 'hacking spree' bit! Hopefully the actual condenser will be ok.
  13. Thanks for the reply. I'm looking for as close to a minter as possible really - one that definitely doesn't leak and has all the fins fairly intact. If yours doesn't look pretty, then it sounds as though it may not be much better than what's on the car already. Thanks anyway. The one that's on the car at the moment doesn't leak too badly - it'll last a good 6 months or more, so I don't want to take a chance on something that could well be worse. The Japfest looks good. Pity it's almost 250 miles away for me...
  14. The calcium version (HCB005) of Halfords own brand batteries often gets recommended on this forum, but I was surprised to see that Halfords non-calcium standard battery actually performs better in the Auto Express battery test.
  15. You could perhaps try here.
  16. Do you know if the car has also got a Clifford wireless immobiliser installed by any chance? If it has, then depending on where it was spliced in, it could possibly cause the symptoms you describe if the transmitter and receiver aren't working (or communicating) correctly.
  17. It may be worth contacting Eibach themselves, here. I've no idea what the warranty is, but I think there's a decent chance they may send you a replacement spring out.
