    Hhhmm single, or big twin. This is the question. I've also just aquired some trd front wings, if i could get hold of the rear trd sections, it'd be a 6 speed manual aerotop trd turbo! How cool!! Not sure if i should wait and do everything in one hit over winter. Got loads of stuff to put on her. Then again, i dont know how long i can sit and look at the 6sp box, pedal box, just sitting there!!

    I thought it would be interesting to see what upgrades, power wise, you guys would look at with a budget of £4k. (to start with!). So far the car is pretty much stock. Twin turb aerotop, de-cat, fcd, 1.0bar. Also, anyone know how many 6 speed manual (twin or single turbs) aerotops there are out there? Add another one to that figure!!

  10. Interesting thread! My main income comes from ten years in the music biz. Have a studio at home and produce various styles for the commercial market. Nightclub Dj on thursday, friday, and saturday nights in various locations. In the week i run a jap specialist salvage/breakers yard with a close friend.(this started as the odd day helping out!!) Busy life!!!

  12. Holy moly!!! That turbo's bigger than my head!! And i thought Dee's crd was quick.
  13. Probably not much in it then. My j spec comes on to boost on first turbo at around 2.5 then 4k rpm for second turbo. Its a bit down on boost for a de-cat car though. Tops at around 1.0 bar. Still on stock smic though, and its battered!
  14. Ok, thats probably the hardest to understand thread ever!! Can we just stick to 'j spec turbs are made of cheese'?? I'd rather take the word of someone that can single handedly fit a vvti engine! I was always lead to believe it was the uk turbs that had bigger wheels. Now i'm going to sit in the corner and cry.
  15. Jake, second post on branners says he got the pics the wrong way round. Darker coloured (smaller) blades are ceramic.
  16. Do they boost the same pressures homer? And whats spool up rpm?
  17. It didnt say it in that thread. I was just pointing out the bigger uk turbine blades. I was going on past experience on selling a set of uk turbs for a jap car. I must have sold the manifolds with it, cos i cant find them!
  18. Correct about manifolds, just had a look. Cant say i've ever driven a uk car. Is there really that much difference??
  19. Its probably worth doing. May run a little lean using the standard 430cc injectors.
  20. Manifold is the same chap. Seen this done as just a straight swap.
