  7. Guys, bit stupid here and don't know much bout this topic.... I am correct in thinking the higher the spring rate the stiffer the ride ? I say this cause I have Tein super flex on the car and the spring rates are alot higher than that of the super street. Personally my car is a bit hard for me. Now as i see it, I could get them overhauled, and get tein to put super street spring on, or buy super street kit and sell the super flex. Anyone shed any light on this or am i completely wrong and a numpty cheers Si

    Help!

Could be to do with customs clearance
  15. I took my scooby over and travelled just over 2000miles through france. It was fully de-catted and very loud.. They loved it.... As for lights, never bothered as I didn't do any night time driving...... I did fit a GB sticker, you can get allsorts, sticky and magnetic... Although again if you look at many cars travelling over there only hlaf have em. Speeding is an on the spot fine, end of, if you don't have the cash then the police will escort you to a cashpoint...... And never open ya wallet with a wad, some of them will take it all..... As far as im aware its not endorsable in the UK Triangles you can pick up for peanuts at halfords and a first aid kit is alos required i think. The police are quite good over there, did a lot of runs a few years ago for certain things and never stopped.... I think we are alos travelling in groups/ buddies so as long as one of us has these we should be ok.. This may seem bit blase, but i have never had any trouble........ i think some of it comes down to the individual
  16. Ears are the same too, one bigger than the other

  18. After having fitted an fmic, I have a spal fan to replace the caged one that I had to remove from the front. How did peeps wire these up. Can i use the existing wiring circuit and and relay/temp so it cuts in as oem caged one used to. Any help appreciated...
  19. Yeah I did, but the way the pipe was , it was to many bends, as the top pipe also had to bend inside the arch... Airbox was an easy option and works...
  20. I just fitted a Miami Gt FMIC and I also had the problem with the air. as the pipe work is very straight..... So not wanting to go aftermarket filter, I modified my air box.... I cut the back towards the top, (afterall the air pipe in the box is at the bottom). Used the old bottom piping and fibre glassed around it to get the desired shape.. Job done... car runs fine and although i may of comprised a bit of air flow, there is still room behind the filter at the top. I got a pic somewhere. Also got a spare air box so was happy at having a go at modding it... Hope this helps Simon
