  1. Rob, did you do the work yourself? I have the engine out and on a proper stand.....
  2. Thankyou Nic, that has sorted that one, its not that which is leaking, its seems to be a rubber gasket that fit into the corner of the front, just behind the the crank dampener and seems to sandwich between the metal of the engine and the plastic of the cover. Strange!
  3. Anyone have a diagram of the front crank seal and the associated part number? Thankyou in advance....
  4. Has anyone got an exploded diagram of the 2JZ-GTE?

  11. 2JZ-GTE Hi I have noticed that there seems to be a gasket behind the crank dampener, mine is leaking. If you look at the engine, behind the crank dampener, there is a plastic cover and a long tube that points downwards, the tube is approx 1" in diameter by 3-4" long, the gasket is above that it has hole in the corner of it, is this normal, what is it? Thanks Oh if anyone has the part number for the gasket or a diagram, that would be very helpful.
  12. They have no idea of the anquish we have suffered. Nearly 24 hours without a Supra fix! Oh the pain...............
  13. Yeah my car had a misfire, after I changed the sparkies, so I bought a new manifold gasket (about £5) and that sorted the problem.

  18. Better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved. Not being funny but people's outlook chage when you join UNI, she will be thinking of you and vice versa, awkward moments, arguments can occur. I am speaking from experience, but naturally everyone is different, so perhaps it could work, sheefa. Bottom line, its your life, do what your heart tells you! Best wishes, with your decision
  19. Spoke to them twice a week, on average since April! Aaaaggggghhhhhh!
  20. They are still pissing me about. Keep adding a bank account, that can handle dd, transfers etc, but they keep removing it saying that it is a "savings" account. Coupled with the dispute that is still ongoing, they have limited both my accounts with over £500 in! I am gutted.
  21. I have not heard from him either! Tom! /vbb/images/smilies/bbcode_sad.gif
  22. Aluminium should not corrode, as the metal is very reactive and surfacecorrodes very quickly in air forming an impervious oxide shield. Hence why aluminium often looks dull with a white hue, due to the oxide layer.
