  1. Every time I see this car it's like I've forgotten how stunning it is - never tire of looking at it!! Awesome work Mike and nice feature.
  2. I suggest we meet in one of the pubs across the road in the Gate for ease (say Lloyds No.1)? Not really my scene but it is probably the closest cluster of bars just so we can get together before heading off for grub. Failing that we could meet in the Newcastle Arms on St. Andrews street or Fluid Bar? I reckon we meet between 5.30-6pm then head to Lau's202 at 6pm
  3. Yep - pretty sure I've got it at home if you can wait until I'm in from later on. Not sure what size/resolution it is like, but I'm fairly sure it is clearer than that one.
  4. Should also have a toyota part number on the rear somewhere.
  5. Lau's aren't taking bookings for the 22nd December - tables are just allocated on arrival and if nowhere is free at that time then we have to just wait. If everyone is cool with that, then I say we meet in a bar between 6pm and 6.30pm then head for grub.
  6. How much you after for the pre-facelift one and are all the screw housings on the rear intact?
  7. Ok.... Laus202 it is then! Will give them a call when I get in and get a table for us.
  8. Well if everyone is happy to go with a Chinese Buffet then we can head to Lau's 202 (the big new one on Newgate Street) - they do Sushi too: http://www.laus202buffethouse.com/home.html Nikolay, the post code is NE1 5RQ if you'd like to come up!
  9. Don't like much fish so that's a non-starter for me Steve. At the minute I'm thinking Akbars Indian or Las Iguanas Mexican. Neither are eat as much as you like, but personally I'd rather pay for the food I want and enjoy it than pay to simply fill up with perhaps less quality. If there are no objections, I'll see if one of the above can fit us in on the 22nd December. Thoughts???
  10. Thought I'd gotten to the bottom of this as I uncovered the small rubber grommit that had the soundproofing over it and I've not had any issues for a week. Unfortunately, there was another small pool this morning on the rear bench I guess on the plus side, I could make out a water-trail today where it seems to have been running down from somewhere in the boot/rear hatch area, so that should hopefully help diagnose where its coming from. Will get the blind and carpet etc all pulled out when I get a chance in some daylight hours.
  11. Proud to have my Space Saver on one of the Kraken's corners lol
  12. List of people attending:- 1) hodge 2) Bossco 3) Stevo 4) Marc (depending on work) 5) Jonny 6) Steveo 7) Fosta 8) Ross 9) Mark 10) Robby Right, decent enough amount to book a table somewhere now, so I'm going to call it Sat 22nd December and will start making a few calls to restaurants and see what I come up with. Meal will be at 7pm ish.
  13. Will do. Is there any reason why screen wash would end up there though? I can't see any washer pipes routed near there.... I have thought about the condensation side of things as the warm interior after using it, coupled with the now colder temperatures would perhaps cause this, especially if I've inadvertently blocked up a breather hole. I'm going to leave a cardboard box upturned over the area tonight and see if the top of the box is wet or whether water has just collected underneath it!
  14. Hi all, Got an annoying issue at the minute with water collecting on the rear bench of the car (under the actual seat). This is only happening on the drivers side. I've just come back from holiday yesterday and the sound proofing (closed cell foam on top of dynomat) I've got on there was sopping wet. I removed the foam and dried everything up before nipping out for some groceries then parking up for the night. At the point of leaving it for the night all was dry. However, I have woken up this morning to find a few mm of standing water there again - there has been overnight rain. The really odd thing is though, there is no sign what so ever of water in any other place - eg, drip marks coming froming the head liner above or signs of water running in through window seals etc. I've noticed today that there is a small rubber grommet in that area that I had put dynamat and foam over the top of. Could I possibly have covered some sort of 'breather' hole??? Anyone had this happen or get any ideas what it might be? Cheers Steve

  23. Anyone interested in having a night out in town with some grub and then some beers, all in the name of being sociable for Christmas? The Chinese banquet was pretty good last year so we could do something similar or perhaps an Indian meal this time? Naturally it will be a Saturday night to accommodate those of us on the Geo diet
