  1. Thank you for that mate, im doing a datalog for the mapper sometime next week so it can shed some more light on the matter if its mapping issues.
  2. yes mate correct! its issue 1 thats the worse now, whenever i boot it and it reaches anywhere near 1 bar it hesitates so badly, but not when the exhaust bung is in, it only stars to shit itself at above 1.3 bar
  3. *sorry about brininig this out from the dead* BUT when i put my Exhaust bung in this problems goes away (hence increasing back pressure) untill i get to high boost (1.35 bar) any ideas?
  4. same here dude, the old ones fell to pieces!!
  5. a lovely silver soop, HIDS, big veilside spoiler parked in the "drop off / taxi" spot. tonight about 1710 ish, Reg L217 *** anyone on here?

    This cant be right!

right this noise only happens when the car is cold, whenis warms up it goes? could it be as simple as the fan belt?

    This cant be right!

Done that mate and it wasn't rubbing anywhere. there are no score (?) marks on the belt, but i have noticed its a little loser than when it came back after being changed.
  8. i was changing my coil pack connectors today and noticed whilst the cam cover was off that the belt had moved about 2 or 3mm towards the engine but carried on with the task ahead. i started the car up to make sure all was running properly and i heard a squeeking noise coming from the cam belt area. took the car out for a spin (gave it a good booting) and noticed on my return that there was blue ish smoke coming out from the cam cover where the belt is......now i know i should be worried about this but how worried??? any help would be much appreciated. 9. neat looking example, standard wheels in silver. anyone on here?
  10. morning all, i changed my plugs not so long ago and noticed that one of the coil packs had broken and was very lose, so i temporarily fixed it by taping the wires to the body of the pack, but now im finding that whenever i go anywhere near 1.2 bar im gettting what i can only explain as missfire (the car is jolting and poping) im presuming im correct in diagnosing this problem but wanted to see if you guys had any other theories on it??? cheers ADD
  11. N/A all day! How ya gettin on looking for as TT?

  15. thats very true mate thanks for that
  16. not only power but for comfort, bit more class and for the fact i kinda just fancy one.
  17. No buddy ive never been out in one
  18. Nah it wouldn't be a everyday car, ive got one for that.....i just thinking about if i go single the problems i could potentially have after.
  19. Nic- are they really bad? i'd of thought with that 340 they wouldn't be too bad. BASHTHEBISHOP- i know mate but im kinda sick of things goin wrong with the car, the M3 would be far more reliable im sure.
  20. Guys and gals i'm not sure about what to do with the soop anymore, id love to go single and have that huge power but i'd also love to get an M3. looking at the pros and cons on the two, if i go single im gonna have to spend prob 2k ish on the turbo, manifold, wastegate etc and another £500 (?) for fitting, then things could go wrong, gearbox, torque converter, fuelling etc...but if i get an M3 i'l have some good power, they look real nice, sound great BUT normally people that drive M3's are right twots....im confused on what i should do, now i know this is a supra owners club and the majority will be sayin go single but i;d still appreciate some decent input. cheers
