Havin 3 problems with my AFR's, NUMBER 1 when ive got the car running under 1.2 bar and im WOT the afr's are about 11...now as soon as i go over 1.2bar to say 1.3bar the afr's are straight down to 10 and if im really booting it into 100+ leptons the car starts to hesitate and almost start to pop and backfire. It is exactly the same for 1.4bar but worse. NUMBER 2 if ive been driving the car around 90 for more than 30 mins the afr's shoot down to between 11 and 12 from 15ish for no apparent reason. just cruising. NUMBER 3 when the car has been driven for a while and im at a junction or T/L the afrs go down to between 11 or 12. Im gonna change the plugs tomorrow but can anybody shed some light on what i should do? extremely worried im gonne screw it up. cheers ad

right i tried the gain at 35 and kept the set at 68 and the boost went mad, it went up to 1.52 but the first turbo came on stronger to 0.8. cant get a happy medium with it though! anyone?

Thought id post up my experiance regarding mapping with Mr Ian C...so after a 12hr shift at work i travelled up to norwich (180 odd miles) barely able to keep my eyes open, turned up and started with the mapping or so we thought firstly a slight modification on the EMU had to be made to plug his laptop in and an explanation on MANU and AUTO mode on the B/C. so we're off Ian's got his headphones on listening to what the engine is doing or not doin...1st run down the private test track hitting 1 bar lovely jubbly, 2nd run we hit 1.62 bar and pop off goes the first boost pipes, luckily Ian had his TOOL BOX handy ...the next run we hit 1.38 and pop, yet another pip popped off but luckily this time it was a visable pipe. Last attempted and she flew hitting 1.45 max Ian was listening for the DET, made a couple of adjustment and was happy. so then we set up the B/C channel one for 1.2 ish and channel 2 for 1.4 ish. went for a run down the D/C and it was running perfect. So to sum the day up i was completely f@cked from my night shift but the trip was well worth it, Ian is a top top bloke that is happy to explain anything to you no matter how simple or how technical and what seems to me to be a really brilliant mapper. BIG thanks Ian for sorting the car its running perfect and extremely quick (In fact i think it could be faster that a certain T67 i know of) You've got and EMU and need it mapped?? He's ya man!!

Heading towards Trigg Roundabout in woking was a Black soop with red rimmed wheels and a lady driver, at about 1800 ish. anyone on here?

the 2nd turbo boosting @ 1.4 yeah but id of thought the 1st would come on stronger. i dont know what they were converted from jake...

On my blitz SBC B/C i'm using 2 channels channel 1 is set 60 gain 40 which i hit 1.28 bar channel 2 is set 68 gain 40 which i hit 1.4 bar (running hybrids) But im only getting 0.7 max out of the 1st turbo and the 2nd is coming on pretty late (4500rpm) although very strong, to anybodies knowledge could i improve my set and gain settings? cheers all ad

ok thanks for all your info guys, im gonna go to my local s&w and get some NGK copper plugs but they are priced at £14 each.....or can i go for halfrauds and get some that fit the supra and pay £16 all in? or do i have to have a certain type?
