I believe if the damage is around 2/3'rds of the car value they will declare it a write off. TBH it sounds like a write off, alot of work to do, but if you know the right people its not unbelievable to think it could be repaired

Could always put a square one where the plate went before to the side? Or put one flat in the intake bit, doubt thats entirely legal tho

Mobiles are heavily subsidised with a contract, so expect to pay ALOT more for just the phone offline. TBH alot of the places, whether online or highstreet are the same sort of prices. The best deals can be found on eBay, but then you have to be careful the phone is legit or it could be blocked when you use it and be an expensive paperweight

His story could be true about the wing tbh. BUT did you ask him about the history being from a Hilux and not the Supra, and that the HPI came up as a different car? TBH I would just say to him to refund the CC charge and get your old car back or you will take it to trading standards and the authorities.

Yup, watched it. Pretty shckong stuff really, i knew it was dodgy but not to the extent of stealing credit card details and nicking peoples vehicles!
