I can understand taking the bumper off if aftermarket & low etc, but was is the reasoning for the bonnet?

Nice pics by the way :) Looks like great fun!

The stock Supra thermostat apparently has a hard time keeping up with the continuous righ revving involved in drifting so i was encountering a good deal of overheating issues. I removed the hood to help the entire engine bay cool off faster...It worked.

Ill be removing the thermostat entirely in a few days.

Well i can control it in the dry without a problem. In the wet its another story completely.

Im thinking about getting a nissan 240sx as a drifting beater car becasue its alot of work and concentration to drift the supra. I can do it, but i have alot more fun in cars like the 240sx or ae86 corolla b/c.

The best way i can think of it is like someone trianing to run a 10 mile race and actually compete in a 5 mile race. The runner performs much better because he learned and trained in something much harder.

Ive got one stripped down to a bare shell. Got T3 suspension components on it, but its going to be a long project so is kind of on indeffinite hold for the time being.
