View Full Version : Dirty JDM Pre-facelift Headlights

My jdm headlights were very murky and yellowish in colour so I grabbed some standard red bottle T-cut (for body work scratches) from my garage and followed the instructions on the bottle!
Now they are gleaming, the plastic on the inside is clean also and the projector beam far better focused.
In the end this has saved me cooking the headlights in the oven for dinner that day.

So before going through the full cleaning process, my advise to anyone thinking about this is to try the simple way first ;).

There is some better stuff made fo the plastic head lights really is good plastx i think its called

Before picture after washing the car (hate my front bumper btw).

I will get an after picture tonight!
I will consider some better plastic cleaner now I know the inside of the lenses are ok :).

Which bumper are you swapping it for? I do like the look of it as it is now :)

Picking one up this week, oem with blended/wingless greddy lip.
The do-luck I have atm maybe a genuine bumper, ill have to find out this week :-p

Mine look like they have come out better with T-cut, I will post a picture tonight (a better quality before picture also)

I took my rotary polisher with menzerna polish to my plastics last week and they came up a treat!:)

That polishing effect works wonders on your phone! Nice photos. Headlights look gleeming mate. Loads better! :)
