Homer Posted September 14, 2010 Share Posted September 14, 2010 Hopefully a simple yes/no answer on this: Can the stock front brake lines from the smaller "jspec" calipers be used when changing the calipers to the larger "UK" ones? No difference in fit Cool, thanks mate if you are putting uk spec on you should really put better braided hoses on too. The stock UK's came with rubber hoses so I don't see why braided ones are considered essential. They might offer a tiny improvement in pedal feel, but surely that's all they do? The thing I don't like about most braided hoses is they miss the support braket which can cause them to rub on the suspension arms. Might be part placebo though as you have to put in new fluid and fully bleed the system anyway, which should improve matters as well.
