Compatibility of Jspec front brake lines & UK brakes?

Hopefully a simple yes/no answer on this: Can the stock front brake lines from the smaller "jspec" calipers be used when changing the calipers to the larger "UK" ones?

Reading back through previous threads there were mixed opinions but couldn't see a definitive answer.

Stock rubber ones. Now have braided. No difference in fit

Cool, thanks mate

if you are putting uk spec on you should really put better braided hoses on too.

The stock UK's came with rubber hoses so I don't see why braided ones are considered essential. They might offer a tiny improvement in pedal feel, but surely that's all they do?

The thing I don't like about most braided hoses is they miss the support braket which can cause them to rub on the suspension arms. Not sure if the latest Goodrich ones have these but the last set I bought didn't have them.

I fitted braided hoses and I recall the pedal feel was hugely improved. Might be part placebo though as you have to put in new fluid and fully bleed the system anyway, which should improve matters as well.

They don't rub on the suspension arms if you put them on the right way round :D
