A little advise needed please

Ideally your going to want to change the clutch mate as the stock NA one isnt going to take the power of a TT, let alone BPU for long ;) .

 

Then again im not 100% certain if the NA 6speed clutch is any different to the TT 6speed stock clutch, i doubt it! I will have to check the Toyota EPC :D

thing is he has a 6 speed NA so the dimensions of everything around the clutch ie block, gearbox bellhousing is the same as a manual TT...............so it comes down to whether toyota went to the hassle of designing a lighter/different clutch flywheel for these NA's or whether they just threw in the standard TT stuff?

Yea i just realised he has the 6speed box so edited my post mate. Im pretty sure they have the same clutch as the TT :D. But if i was him i would change it anyway whilst the box is out, make it futureproof so to speak. Something like an RPS Max will do the job even if he went small single in the future.
