Ady
Ok ive been posting my supra progress on a few other forums, some local and some not. This is the funniest reply of the lot! ''OK....first, BPU means nothing really with regards to power - it's just intake exhaust and boost controller.......with those kind of mods your not going to get more than 360bhp i would have thought. As Turbo Mr2 say's, race rad is gonna do squat for you, simple really. I'm not sure why you need two restrictor rings either? I used one, to keep my boost to just under 1.2bar. And if your using a restrictor ring, why fit a boost controller? it's not needed really. And it's the engine that is likely to pop, turbo's can take a bit of stick..... Paul'' and then this followed ''Big Power Unleasher lol I hate it when people refer to BPU's. Just like people who say "Stage 3 tune" - means fuck all really.'' Ahh there we go then - ive been told Might as well save my money and not go bpu - after all it means nothing PS - Paul - First post - is a ex supra owner!! DamanC
The decription of BPU means nothing to people out of the supra comunity. Each tune 'stage' is only loosely known in each indervidual comunity.

Ady
Its a valid arguement. How will a RR let me choose between low and high boost levels? Do i need to get out and dismantel and change to a 0.3 RR to give me low boost? haha

Do i need to get out and dismantel and change to a 0.3 RR to give me low boost? haha At BPU you don't need a high and low boost setting, you use your right foot. My AVCR is setup for two levels, it's been in the car for years and it's only ever used one of them. I can't help thinking that *you* are going to come out looking silly here if you aren't careful. Have fun though.

Have fun though. I want a high and low boost setting thow - this is what ive been trying to say. the roads on anglesey are nothing like yours in england. im constantly stopping and starting, slowing down - i only have 2 60 mph stretches both just under a mile to work - and its 25 miles away. im stuck in 30 and 40 most of the way, so high boost is pretty pointless. would liek to turn it down, as you cant really get anywhere fast, and if you do, there are that many bends, youd just wipe out at full boost remember, nost of the roads here are also covered in cow shit and mud from tractors i can then open her out properly on the A55 (dual carrageway) Nothing rong with being 'safe than sorry' is there?
