Glosphil
Finally removed my 1st CAT, removed the 2nd some time ago. Been laying under the car in the rain all day long, this has been a nightmare. the nuts wouldnt come off and ended up undoing the bolts from the manifold with them. I thought great its going to of threaded them and I'll need to get it to a garage to sort it. I carried on anyway and joined the 2 de-catts together and put them on inc 1.2 bar restrictor. To my surprise the bolts screwed back into the manifold nice and tight yay Sounds much nicer now, but I think I may have pneaumonia lol Shame I cant blat it and give it a test, bloody rain. hogmaw
Congrats. Decatting is kind of like a rite of passage with the supra. You have aftermarket exhaust, or still stock?
_Shane_
I got a decat for my supra and when it was fitted the car wasnt running right at all on channel 1 2 and 3 on the blitz boost controller car only ran right when it was on channel 4 - 1.35bar boost any ideas why this was happening ??? Glosphil
yeah hogmaw been wanting to do it for ages now, tried one before, but couldnt get it off, so just took the 2nd catt off. It has been boosting to 1.2 and above with the 1st Cat in, so not sure how much diff it will make. I've got a nur spec R exhaust on it. Glosphil
mine s bpu`d and only running , 1.05 bar Well I'll see what the restrictor ring does, but in the cold with the 1st CAT still in it was boosting to 1.38 so I put the exhaust baffle in and it took it down to 0.9. Rekon with the cat off and the ring it should be ok.
