neil tt
In the soarer it was like a felt, which I dyed with carpet dye, it took alot to do though:)

JODY T
I would try it on the sun visors first mate, I tried to do it (albeit ahalf hearted attempt) and it seems to just soak it up and still go a dirty grey! JT

supra steveo
oohh any pics? and how did you do it ? this sounds good
louisjames
get it on ebay, £20 a roll, 1mtr x 1n haf i think does it. make sure you get genuine stuff, you will see from feedback, pics etc. drop your lining out, remove old stuff, DONT go over it as the foam absorbs the glue. buy a pot of super elastic adhesive in the can, paint on not spray, bnq bigger tin just covers it, paint both surfaces as you go, job done. and looks excellent. people always comment on it. so all in all about 30 quid and 3 hours ish. edge
I tried one of my sun visors and it came out cr@p. The headlining is the same stuff. I would say you would be better off spraying it or getting a uk black vinyl or even do what louisjames did, Would like to see that myself. fizzle
i wouldnt advise trying to dye it, i tried mine after replacing with the leatherette one, didnt take well at all... if you want to have a go yourself i still have the old lining you can practice on... jackso11
mine is an aero so 2 sections to dye, and the visors, might just get some black ones though. I think I am going to go the alcantara route, sounds easy enough apart from the visors. then of course the light surround needs to be black but I wil either paint that or get black ones
