Sorry mate was told that by brake specialist (NOT ATS) aparantly you could damage the seals in the ABS system and master cylender so i have allways done this as brake fluid is cheaper:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Chris Wilson Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 Heavy brake pedal pressure = about 2500 PSI, pushing the pistons back = about 10 PSI. the seals see the same fluid pressure direction. When i try and do these jobs on a while you wait basis something invariably gives grief, yet when the owner disappears into the sunset all goes swimmingly... Go figure I can sometimes fit jobs in next day, sometimes next month, my workload varies enormously. Try and give me as much notice as you can please.
