I am so looking forward to it, there is a guy at my work that says if there is one thing you do in Tenerife you have to go up the mountain. If it is a sunny day the cable car trip to the top. My Grandad has a place there, I've only been once, years ago - all I remember is Mercedes taxis, good onion soup and steep hills. Shocked Tom hasn't posted about his trip on here yet.
