I've tried a couple of times - just about keep up with (and maybe just beat) a modern hot-hatch, but anything proper/decent will beat an NA, especially lower down the speed range. I got taken apart by an Alfa (looked like a GTV) the other day. Depressing - but as everyone else has said the Supra looks way better and won't break down nearly as often as an Alfa Hmmm - I see an upgrade to a TT in the offing... There was a particularly nasty accident on the M40 about 6 years ago when car A was right up carB's arse, so B stood on the breaks, A hit B so hard that the car concertinaed upto it's B pillar. it was a fatal iirc.
