supra-lover
ok. the idea of having a tt has dwindled a bit now, i have decided i WANT the fastest na i can possibly have, i'm gonna spend my hard earned money on the engine now, gonna start with the manifold and Lightened Crank Pulley, can you guys give me any other pointers on where to go from there cheers
tooquicktostop
I would strip out as much as you can from the car as I think big gains in engine power are going to be hard to come by, unless of course you add a turbo but I guess you had wanted to keep it NA? Perhaps add NOS ?

RedM
ok cheers, i'm not aiming at 300bhp just want too see how much faster i can make it... Push it off a cliff or reduce the weight. Vaguely remembering something about rotational weight so maybe so lightweight wheels etc etc

Vaguely remembering something about rotational weight so maybe so lightweight wheels etc etc just gonna be interesting too see what sort of power i will get out of the parts i'm planning on getting, even if it's only a tad faster least it's still faster than most
tooquicktostop
Danger is you could spend as much as getting that TT you wanted and at the end of the day you will still own an NA which as good as they are will not have increased in value that much no matter what you do to the engine IMO;)
jaymdee
Sorry, but from what I've read on here, it's just not worth it. You'll end up spending more than just buying a TT, and that's without selling the NA.

Homer
lol i aint got that much money matey Bet it's not much cheaper than modding the NA To be honest, if you're going to go all out on the NA, look towards a standalone ECU, throttle bodies, flowed head, uprated valvetrain, etc. It'd sound the dogs danglies, thats for sure. Whitesupraboy2
tuning NA is expensive from the way your posting mate, I just dont think you'll have the cash to do what you want. Cheapest to get to 250BHP (if it makes it) with a mapped ECU is going to be around 4,000s. Buy some octane booster and stick it in the petrol

Wez
It would also be a good idea to get your motor dynoed as it is to you can see which mods are working and which are not.
