supra dan
is this how the springs go on the back of the pad? and is the nipple at the top? cheers
Scooter
that spring does not fit there..................it goes between the two pins on the back of the caliper......basically fit the pads in the caliper, locate them with one pin and then as you locate the second pin have this spring clip looped over the first pin and you can push the second pin through the outer pad hole, through the looped part of the spring clip and then on through to the second pads hole (you may even be able to fit this clip after locating both pins - its been a while since i had uk brakes)...........make sense? you should have some anti squeal shims (some people don't fit these) that go in the position you have the spring clips in your picture. They are just flat pieces of metal almost exactly the shape of the pad............
Angie
That spring clip doesn't go on the back of the pad - when the pads are in the caliper with the retaining pins in place, that clip goes on the top of the caliper, one end going over one of the pins and the other going under the remaining pin. Unfortunately I'm not at home at the moment - otherwise I'd send you a pic. I'm sure someone else will oblige shortly....

Angie
Bleed nipple goes to the top as that's where air bubbles rise to.
