RobSheffield Posted August 14, 2007 Share Posted August 14, 2007 was talking to a mate of mine as i was standing next to the car and noticed that a red light had come on it was the red oil light with the line underneath so got a bit worried and got back in a drove it home but when i drove off the light went off any ideas guys. The warning isn't that bad really, I had this once when I first bought the car, the oil level wasn't low but the oil was in a terrible state. Has the oil been changed recently? Jezz Posted August 16, 2007 Share Posted August 16, 2007 Rob, the reason they are both red, is because it has the Thor stainless covers on. Also, give the top of the dash a little tap on the drivers side and see if that light comes bakc on or flickers. I think the light cluster may have dry solder or a dodgy earth or something, cos i remember the ABS light flickering a few times when i had it. Used to tap the unit and the light went off.
