try out the search button, more info there than any single thread will return. This has been discussed many times over...

Basically options are

tt engine swap

or

na-t

or

sell na get tt

engine swap would be costly and complex.

na-t not so bad...

sell and buy is the easiest option.

excuse me for jumping in but just out of interest (which i sure Loz1965 would benefit from this info too) is it as straight forward as "bolting" on a turbo to an N/A engine?

Firstly are the engine blocks the same ? if they are surely you would need to piss about with ECUs, airflows, sensors, injectors, fuel pumps, sparks, intercoolers, cooling pipework etc....the list must go on and on and to buy these parts seperately would cost a bomb let alone finding them for sale, then you've got the labour to fit and paying someone to set it all up correctly ?

Thats without changing gear boxes, clutches, diffs, exhausts etc...surely this cost would be obscene.

whats the difference in price comparing like for i.e. same condition, mileage etc for a manual 1994 N/A vs. TT

something like ???...

N/A £5,000 vs. TT £8,000 ???

what would the cost of converting all the bits over to make the N/A into the TT more than £3,000 ???

As already mentioned when you sell it are people going to be put off buying a converted N/A to TT when they can just buy a TT and be assured that it was made by Toyota ?

anyways sorry for butting in...
