I've got many many people who owe me a few favours right now... all the sort you don't want knocking at your door asking to borrow sugar! A bit of damage, but not that much... sounds like you were caught in the middle of a grudge between the garage and someone else. I'm surprised you didn't call the police there and then. I hope you do track em down as it would be nice to see that sort of person get their balls ripped off and pay for your repairs. Perhaps a couple of ppl on here could come up with a list of convicted car vandals in the area for you....or anything criminally associated with the garage...against them or otherwise.
